Attention, ladies: Obama wants to be your ‘first’ (with video)

An intellectually honest feminist would be horrified by this sexualization of women’s suffrage, the reduction of young women to Harlequin Romance voters finding the right man** to give themselves to. Are there any such feminists left?

It’s funny: Democrats tell women to “vote like your lady parts depend on it” — or at least they used to. You had the Code Pink protesters who, at the GOP convention in Tampa, actually got dressed up like vaginas. Now this. I try not to play the “what if Republicans did it” card too often, but seriously: Can you imagine the outrage on the left if the Romney campaign put out an ad like this?

At what point do women decide to turn away from such patronizing, superficial pandering?

Oh, right. Many of them already have.

**Note that this ad pretty much implies women should only vote for male candidates. Or that only a lesbian would vote for a female candidate. Or something. Honestly, this is such an amazing example of sophomoric pandering I’d like to believe they simply didn’t think through it that far. But hey, Democrats can get away with it because, WAR ON WOMEN! Also, Obama evolved on gay marriage. Or something.

Akin was shouted down by the GOP after his comment and lost a boatload of funding for what would have been a cakewalk of a race and now is a toss-up at best for Republicans. That’s one reason “Team Rape” is such a ludicrous term.

The Republican candidate who implied that God causes raped women to get pregnant symbolizes the mindset of those currently in control of his party. Ryan co-authored a bill to make a fertilized egg a “person” with full legal rights. The far-right Republican mentality and the Talaban mentality towards women are not that far apart.

If you really love your country and our constitution, vote accordingly.

Energy giant Chevron contributed $2.5 million in October to the Congressional Leadership Fund, a super PAC supporting Republicans to the House. According to campaignmoney.org, the contribution is the largest from a single corporation to a super PAC since the Citizen’s United verdict enabled corporations and unions to make unlimited political contributions.

For any taxpayer funded coverage, yes. You shouldn’t have to pay for a man’s little blue pill just like I shouldn’t have to pay for Sandra Flukes birth control.

For consumer paid coverage, that’s up to what the consumer wants to pay for.

Obama campaign promoting sex to get your vote.
If you fall for it, its says something about your ethics,
morality and disdain for God’s law.

Sad….the liberal train of thought is to use sex at any turn
to promote their agenda. Good and decent women care about more
than sex and contraceptions. They care about morality and
doing what is right and not promoting this garbage.

Interesting how the GOP uses “God’s Commandments” in the same way Islamic Extremists do. They like to cherry pick scriptures to support their claims and ignore the scriptures that condemn their behavior. How quickly they forget Jim Jones, Jimmy Swaggart, Timmy McVeigh, The Uni-bomber and David Koresh. Oh yeah, and that “lady” that used to be on TBN with the massive blonde wig and enough make-up for a whole sorority on one face. It’s just another reason why their base is shrinking daily. November 7th is the rude awakening.

Yep, it is sad that the Dems are down to a single issue now, telling women that they decided can’t think for themselves, that the GOP has declared war on them. You would think that women with smarts would not need to be told by a political party that they are under attack. If I was under attack, I would not need a stupid politician defending me. The Democrat fallback, be paternalistic to those who are so mistreated and unable to fend for themselves. Shows what the Dems think of women!

As far as your “reproductive rights” rant. No one is attacking anyone’s right to reproduce, go ahead, have as many as you can feed, raise, and financially support. Only in China, as far as I’m aware, is reproduction not a right. Produce all the little Dems you want, Finn, it is a free country, for now anyway.

Kyle, your outrage is overblown! It’s a good ad addressing women’s issues presented by a typical young, slightly silly American woman.

Women can’t vote for a woman candidate: they must choose between two men. One of the men treats women as if they are morally and legally equal to men. The other treats women in the Biblical way, as chattel who must be closely managed.

This is so funny. Tell me some more how stupid and idiotic I am to have any opinions other than the ones you hold. The more you expect everyone to share your antiquated views on women and minorities, the more you are out of touch with the young peoples train of thought. Just remember, things change as generations change and what was once the general concensous may not be the majority opinion for the next generation, so go ahead and tell them they are stupid and must do what you tell them.

…and regarding “An uninhibited female va-jay-jay”…..can anyone tell when they last saw a va-jay-jay of any type other than female?

And given that Obama’s platform, such as it is, is nothing but a warmed-over version of the past four years’ policies, no, there’s not much there for me to agree with.

As for your 12:45: No Christian I know claims that any Christian, much less all of them, is perfect. Actually, the central tenet of the faith is rather the opposite. The losing streak is at five (since 1992) and I have little reason to conclude that it will not go on for the foreseeable future.
