RNC 2012: Before Romney’s speech, campaign releases a bevy of Bain videos (see one here)

Hours before Mitt Romney takes the stage to accept the Republican presidential nomination, his campaign released nine new videos on YouTube about his successes in business. Could they represent a preview of the case he’ll make tonight? Here’s one of them, about that staple of shopping malls across the country: Brookstone.

A robust defense of his business career has been a long time coming. Will these help do the trick?

So under YOUR logic, Flying High / Up and Away / whatever else you’ve blogged under, since Romney didn’t mention North Korea last night, he supports that regime, right? Oh, the hypocrisy!

Flying High Again… don’t be so cruel to TeaBan. We all enjoy his ideology on a daily basis, the real conservative viewpoints he brings to all of us. Here in the People’s Republic of Arizona we just don’t get that variant of con… It is very refreshing to say the least. TeaBan… Always thought provoking, nasty pithy remarks to anyone who does not share his world view… I could go on but why? Ease up on the guy, he’s a true believer, similar to the old Red Guards, but on the other side.

Patty/Tiberius/Baptist Voting For A Mormon in 2012 ….

The elephant in the room that many Republicans are in denial about is that Republicans PUBLICALLY STATED that “blacks have no place in the Republican Party”….and the rank-and-file Republicans have persisted in that ideology! The “party of Lincoln” basically has forgotten its roots….and has made it clear!! The architect of Nixon’s “Southern Strategy” came out and SAID it!! Two RNC Chairmen, Lee Atwater and Ken Mehlman also followed that script and purposely alienated black people! Those two…and Michael Steele ADMITTED that this was GOP policy!!! You ask why black people vote Democratic…..black people have been made to feel UNWELCOME……and the code word you use to indicate such speak VOLUMES!!

Here’s the link for a revelation:

Three take aways from the RNC:

1. Invisible Obama uncomfortableness
2. Paul Ryan’s all out lies
3. Mitt Romney in his best speech ever (But too bad it wasn’t full of more details. Just because you read your bullet points 1 through 5 doesn’t mean you are explaining policy specifics.)

GREAT NEWS FOR DEMOCRACY!!!

Federal Judge Restores Early Voting In Ohio After Obama Suit

A federal judge in Ohio on Friday restored early voting rights in the three days before the election, ruling in favor of the Obama campaign.

U.S. District judge Peter C. Economus ruled that “restoring in-person early voting to all Ohio voters through the Monday before Election Day does not deprive UOCAVA voters from early voting.”

“Instead, and more importantly, it places all Ohio voters on equal standing,” Economus ruled. He said the state “fails to articulate a precise, compelling interest in establishing the 6 p.m. Friday deadline as applied to non-UOCAVA voters and has failed to evidence any commitment to the ‘exception’ it rhetorically extended to UOCAVA voters.”

The Romney campaign had falsely accused Obama of trying to curtail military voting when the suit simply sought to force the state to make early voting available to all Ohio voters.

Hey Kyle- I couldn’t find that Bain video about the company they set up in 1998 in China to steal jobs for manufacturing appliances from Americans- where is it?? or the one about all commissions Romney and his partners made off of investor’s capital that they took as capital gains – great tax dodge; probably illegal. I would like to dub in the background him singing God bless America to those when I can find them.

Romney’s own released tax returns shows that he made XX millions a year. His proposed federal tax plan reduces his own rate to less than 2%.

Remember that when you go to the polls to vote. What % federal taxes do you pay?

Richard Steele is the perfect example of the rep party, this man helped the rep party in 2010 to victory, and he was not even invited to the white convention, thse people really think they can win with the only white male votes.

Help me understand this? Mitt going to create over 14 million jobs within two years but he helped send thousands of them overseas, yet the right wing extremist call Obama not American, you have to wonder are these people all there mental”””’

Romney Persona Non Grata in Italy for Bain’s Deal Skirting Taxes

QUEUE

Q

..
Mitt Romney skipped Italy on his swing through Europe. That was probably prudent.

That’s because Bain Capital, under Romney as chief executive officer, made about $1 billion in a leveraged buyout 12 years ago that remains controversial in Italy to this day. Bain was part of a group that bought a telephone-directory company from the Italian government and then sold it about two years later, at the peak of the technology bubble, for about 25 times what it paid.

Bain funneled profits through subsidiaries in Luxembourg, a common corporate strategy for avoiding income taxes in other European countries, according to documents reviewed by Bloomberg News. The buyer, Italy’s biggest telephone company, now has a total market value less than what it paid Bain and other investors for the directory business.

In Italy, the deals have spurred at least three books, separate legal and regulatory probes and newspaper columns alleging investors made a fortune at the expense of Italian taxpayers.

Because there is no magic. It is the same old Bush economic principals that got America into trouble to begin with! Give a free ride to the top 2% earners and make the middle class pay more.

Democrats are like that cohort of teenagers who mock and harass other teens who study hard and get good grades. When they grow up, they act like that towards those who are successful.

It’s a defense mechanism that helps them cope with their own lack of accomplishment. Obozo cleverly taps into that–”it’s time to get even with those squares”.

Be better than that.

You spoke of “manning up” earlier. It would be my honor to extend an invitation to you to visit the gym where I workout and spar. They have several locations in the metro area, so we could meet at the closest one to you. I will pay for your one day pass and lunch as well. Boxing, Kickboxing or grappling… Either is fine.

Or we could meet at your gym. You do workout, right?

Let me know when you want to “man up” and feel the love.

There was never any threat of violence. Invited you to spar as a response to your “man up” comment; nothing more, nothing less.

Didn’t you see any part of the convention? Women, HIspanics, Blacks, Whites all spoke which means the party is open to EVERYONE. So why not think for your self for a change instead of letting the Demo handlers TELL you what to think, huh?
