RNC 2012: Before Romney’s speech, campaign releases a bevy of Bain videos (see one here)

Hours before Mitt Romney takes the stage to accept the Republican presidential nomination, his campaign released nine new videos on YouTube about his successes in business. Could they represent a preview of the case he’ll make tonight? Here’s one of them, about that staple of shopping malls across the country: Brookstone.

A robust defense of his business career has been a long time coming. Will these help do the trick?

from the article:

“But what most voters don’t know is the way Mitt Romney actually made his fortune: by borrowing vast sums of money that other people were forced to pay back. This is the plain, stark reality that has somehow eluded America’s top political journalists for two consecutive presidential campaigns: Mitt Romney is one of the greatest and most irresponsible debt creators of all time. In the past few decades, in fact, Romney has piled more debt onto more unsuspecting companies, written more gigantic checks that other people have to cover, than perhaps all but a handful of people on planet Earth.”

Bain with private funds generated billions for pension plans, college endowments, etc. created or saved thousands of jobs, bailing companies like : Clear, Channel, AMC ent., Burger King, Burlington Coat Fact.,Dominos, Dunkin Donuts, Gritar Center, Staples, Toys R Us, Bloomin’ Brands, Brookstone.. Paid taxes all along the way…… Obama with YOUR taxe$.. wasted billions on political pay backs to Labor Unions, Lobbiests, On Solyndra, Ener 1, Abound Solar, Eastern Energy, Spectra, etc… ALL were Obama contributors, ALL now bankrupt !!!

Libs are out in force trying to distract from the message that Obama is a failure and is campaigning for four more years of the status quo.

Lib motto; see no truth, hear no truth, speak evil of the speaker. Willful self deception and delusion in the face of abject failure.

President Romney used private money to finance turnarounds of various businesses. Private risk, private gains or losses.

Obozo used taxpayer money to finance the GM bailout, $50 billion of which is still owed to taxpayers, who had no voice in how their money was used and whether or not they were being obligated to take on his risky fascist scheme.

Romney: Superior to Obozo.

Matt Taibbi clarifies:

Again, that’s not to say leveraged buyout deals don’t work for investors. They frequently do. But such deals are designed for the benefit of the investor – not for the takeover target. It’s two different sets of interests that have been mistakenly portrayed, in the press, as being aligned.

Somebody said here — “Mitt Romney saved Clear Channel?” Once Bain Capital took over, THOUSANDS jobs were lost, with downsizing coming EVERY year where some markets are with skeleton staffs. What a Bleepin’ lie. Every year, a new round of people are let go, with the next round of layoffs coming after the election. Mr. Romney is a job destroyer.

In 1970, GM had nearly 400,000 hourly employees. Today, they have about 10% of that. Their problems have been going on a lot longer and go a lot deeper, than anything that can be blamed on any current politician.

For example, if the swing state of Nevada, which has the nation’s highest unemployment rate (12 percent), votes for four more years of current policies, it must henceforth suffer in silence. Actually, all those who vote to continue Barack Obama’s distinctive brand of clientelism — crony capitalism — must, if he wins, become political Trappists, taking a vow to keep quiet.

Yeah, but yet they still babble.

It’s a shame that we only have politicians to vote for because neither one of these guys would be my first choice. I just believe that 4 more years of Obama and his do NOTHING Presidency on the economy and his assault on Judeo-Christian values would set America back so far we may never recover. I know he inherited a bad economy from a Republican who spent like a Liberal, but he his job as President is to make it better which it clearly is not.
