The 100 Americans the left hates the most

Granted, this list was compiled by people on the right — the editors at Townhall. That’s one reason I’m bringing it up here for debate. Did they get it right?

I count three current or former Georgians on the list — Newt Gingrich, Clarence Thomas and Erick Erickson; no Tom Price or Ralph Reed — and it’s interesting that 4.5 of the top 10 are women (the half referring to the fact that No. 7 is “the tea party patriot”).

The entire top 10, in ascending order and with my comments in parentheses:

10. Michele Bachmann (The most hated Republican in Congress? Really?)

9. Bill O’Reilly (Higher than Sean Hannity? Really?)

8. Dick Cheney (Only question imo is whether he or Karl Rove ires liberals more.)

7. The tea party patriot (A little too close to “Time’s Person of the Year: You” for my taste.)

6. Michelle Malkin (Not many liberals naming babies Michelle [or Michele] these days, I suppose.)

5. Ann Coulter (No surprise here.)

4. George W. Bush (How many years will pass before he makes it out of the top 10? Will he, or we, live to see it?)

3. Rush Limbaugh (Not No. 1? Is this Elton John’s fault?)

2. Sarah Palin (But of course.)

… and at No. 1, Glenn Beck.

Thoughts? Who would make the opposite list — people hated by the right?

(H/t: Hot Air, whose bloggers Ed Morrisey and Allahpundit are ranked Nos. 49 and 65, respectively.)

“Cyberspace is our only real freedom remaining but the Progressives want to squash it too.”

The misinformation tonight is spewing out more toxins than BP oil. So you want your internet slowed down to a crawl because you didn’t pony up a bigger user fee to your internet provider just to keep the speed you have now? That’s exactly what the Republicans want to do to you by siding with the AT&T, Verizon, etc. and aginst you to kill Net Neutrality. GOP=Greedy Old Prostitutes.

We on the right don’t hate. We’re too busy working in order to pay for the worthless wastes of good oxygen on the left looking for handouts.

I love to see this type of newspaper articles,it goes to show how afraid the stinking left is.(even this newspaper)When the right gets control of this country again, we will put God back into this country and put pride back into this country and good standards of living instead of a president who wants the government to run everything. To be able to work for something instead of expecting to be giving something that someone else is paying for.Higher taxes and more government is not the way to go.Less taxes and less government and hard work.Lets try that for a change.

Reading the vapid comments of the bed-wetting lefties on this blog makes me suggest that we immediately cancel their subscriptions to Child’s World. Most are in California, I guess, happy that they have some imagined malady that lets them legally smoke MaryJanes. Geez, what a collective waste of human protoplasms.

So, you WILL do a most hated liberals list no doubt????? Or is this just another way for a liberal rag to push the conservative hatred issue by re-publishing an article from another paper/blog?????

Where’s Carl Rove anyway??

We shall see come the morning of November 3 who is right (interesting connotation I must say) and who was wrong.
As for “No Longer Repunlican(sic)”, I suggest you go back and repeat your seventh grade and then drop out of school! The Government school you attended failed you also.

DannyX While Beck’s viewership has declined as the summer season approaches, have you compared his ratings to those of the wonks on MSNBC? And those folks are on in prime time. perhaps you should watch his show sometimes yourself, you might learn something.

As for the hate, most of the hate emanates from the left although I will admit there are some right wing wackos out there as well. The real problem with trying to discuss positions on issues with someone from the left is when they feel they cannot win with logic, they are the first to start the name calling and the slurs. Just saying…

Glenn Beck is the right choice for the #1 spot even if it is his own list. The ridiculous propaganda that he spews is absolutely moronic. He does all these great exaggerations just so he can get good ratings and sell his books. Doesn’t matter to him that he is lying and what he is doing is further dividing our country. All he wants is the fame and the money but his viewers think he is telling the gospel truth.

I would have Karl Rove and Dick Cheney 2 and 3 tho. They were the force behind the Bush years. Bush really isn’t that bad of a guy, but he made big mistakes in listening to Rove and Cheney.

I’ve been reading all these comments about how the folks on the left don’t have an education…yet so many of the right are pinning their future hopes on Sarah Palin?????? Now that is a bright one for ya!

And as for the negativity on Sarah Palin, if the media did acurate reporting on the incompetence of the current administration instead of tap dancing around it or ignoring it completely then you would see the same type of drop. Now, that said, it does not mean that I think Palin is qualified to be President, it is just that she speaks what many on the right think.

Simple truth is you cannot continue to spend like it’s someone else’s credit card. The bank called and said they are done. Live within your means and stop looking for everyone else to take care of you.

Congrats to Town Hall and Glenn Beck. They created a list of no scientific merit and have managed to convince one political blogger (our man Kyle) that it’s anything more than a fantasy world.

That’s not to say that there are people that are disliked by individuals who consider themselves left-leaning, but everybody needs to read the descriptions; They’re hilarious. Palin is painted as a paragon of everything fair and good.

Beck naturally linked to this thing because it kisses his fanny.

Actually, I shouldn’t say the descriptions are hilarious. They’re conservative propaganda. It doesn’t describe at all why this people would be or should be disliked. No cursory examinations, folks. Just extremely inflammatory propaganda.

Take, for example, this part of the description of Coulter: “Ann’s bluntness, coupled with her effectiveness and habit of being right, has made her a burr in the saddle of the Left.”

At this point, I’m not sure if it’s meant to be a joke. If so, Kyle and others have fallen for it. If not, it’s scary that people are so committed to their political affiliation that they honestly believe the values attributed to the people on the list.

I HATED it when the DOW was at 14000. I HATED it when unemployment was at 5%. I HATED it when our debt hadn’t been quadrupled. I HATED watching my spec homes go up 70K between contract and closing.. I just couldn’t stand it any longer. Thankfully now we have a “smart”* president and everyone is happy. Bush Dow 14K Obama Dow 10K, Bush unemployment 5% Obama unemployment 10% Bush debt 10.3 Trillion Obama debt 13 Trillion. Bush degree MBA Harvard, Obama degree JD Harvard law (Professional BS’er) Bush relationship to father.. Excellent, Obama relationship to father.. huh? This my friends is called a Bell Curve president. Much less is expected of him, and boy is he delivering! If there is a next time, can we get someone who has some type of executive experience?????

The right…well, they would hate:

What the Right hates:

1. personal responsibility (thinking without being told how to think)
2. regular bathing (prefer oil spots on a beach)…drill, Baby
3. alarm clocks (time is a big issue, they had how many years to do health reform?)
4. laws (gee, Karl and Dickie boy certainly skirted those)
5. rules (ditto four)
6. god (they have Reagan, Hannity and Rush)
7. country (they have Iraq and that country next to it)
8. family (well, Cheny got a Lesbian daughter who has a wife and McCain’s wife is for gay marriage…what else lurks in the conservative families godly values)
9. themselves…yes, they hate the one is more righteous than the other (e.g. tea party people and Sarah)
10. work (they just do as they are told (e.g. how to think) and nothing more. It’s so easy. Just say no. Don’t think. Remember now, just say no.

None of these Conservatives are in power and only two have been. As a Real Conservative, I dislike all liberals because they are weak minded, pathetic and immature. But, my top 10 list would be, Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Henry Waxman, Diane Feinstien, Barbra Boxer, Harry Reid, Barack Obama, Russ Feingold, etc…but they’re all tied for first. You know, people that are actually in power and destroying what little freedom we had left. And don’t forget Al Gore !

NLP…..Blame Bush. What a novel idea. It worked the first year. It’s still getting mileage the second year (except if you look at Ted Kennedy’s senate seat), but will it work in November? Next year? The year after that? Even a liberal can figure out that eventually the CURRENT guy has to get results. I mean that’s why you hired him right? Based on all his vast experience in problem solving?

For me the biggest difference between Democrats and Republicans boils down to 1 simple principle. When it comes to government handouts, Democrats want to combine those who WON’T with those who CAN’T in the name of getting votes. It’s called Just Say Yes (to everybody). Republicans want to take a closer look, and make sure anybody riding in the wagon isn’t able to get out and pull once in awhile.

Is it any wonder why we have the elected The Politicians we have. Most comments above come from talking points of the hate mongers on the radio and the tube…I just hope all of you do the research on the politicians before you vote and not depend on others to tell you who is the right person. They have an agenda, they are nothing without you, the public, so they tell you what you want hear…wake UP!!!! Most of those on the RIGHT do NOT have your interest at heart. And Yes, some on the Left don’t either. DO your research…just because they are pro life and go to church does not make them a Politician that will work for your interests. Be Aware of what is going on around you, nothing is as it seems anymore.

I don’t hate any of those on the list. I also do my best to ignore them and their ignorance. I do have to laugh when I see some poor, delusional person praising the likes of Palin. Progressives do not fear these people. Bush and Cheney are the two most dangerous people on that list, and their damage has been done and keeps on giving. The GOP is being slowly taken over by the fringe tea baggers, which is further alienating the republican party from the Ameriican voter. :)

JeffW, just a note. The reason the Dow was at 14000 and your spec homes were increasing by 70K between contract in closing was “cheap money” flooding the markets. It’s like maxing out your credit cards and saying; “I love my new BMW, my 50″ flat screen, and my newlt rennovated kitchen. It was a costly game of hot potato, and when Wall Street realized it had skimmed enough, it sold short. This type of event is the RULE, not the exception as far as America’s boom/bust economy, and interestingly enough, at has nothing to do with ANY president. Bush overspent on Iraq/Afghanistan, TARP, and tax breaks, Obama thinks the economy needs “stimulation”, but he is going about it via the same route that caused the 2008 collapse (print/borrow more money). The American people are on a hike, and instead of protecting themselves against snakes in the grass, they are debating which is more dangerous; a copperhead or a rattlesnake.

Unless the right has a self loathing complex, I think a list composed by about hatred is trash. Coming from the other side of the political spectrum, my hate goes to those who know better and are just taking advantage of fear annd hatred for their own gain. That really rules out President G W. Bush. It used to rule out Palin, but as inarticulate as she is, she saw which side of the right wing machine gets the grease and decided to quit politics and and become mouth piece for money. So again, its not the politicians its the Limbaughs, Becks, Malkins, Hannity’s that are drumming up feart and divisive tactics. The polititions on the right are just idiots that that repeat the lunacy.

When Bush left office, the Dow was at 8000 (yes, it dropped from it’s high of 14,000). Bush inherited a jobless rate of 4.1% and doubled it to 8.1% when he left office. When Bush took office, the debt was at $5.1 Trillion dollars. Bush increased that to $10.6 Trillion. Bush created just over 1 million new jobs during his 8 yr presidency (Clinton 23 million).
