I know I’m late for this blog, but I just watched a great SEC domination of an ACC Championship Game Team. SC just went ahead of Clemson 34-17 with just over 2 mins left. One down and 2 more to go. One expected and the other unexpected. But the Dawgs’ win will be the sweetest. Go Dawgs! Woof-woof!

1964 – This victory began the domination and loss of rivalry. Tech became a team that GA had to survive. It was also the first year my family had season tickets. I still remember that fumble on that wet field that day. It all felt pretty good! Today the rivalry is back. Johnson said he would bring it back and it is back indeed. Should this come out as a normal person would expect, then Tech’s name and the date of next year’s game will be in the GA locker room. A victory next year for GA will be critical for CMR.

It will take Georgia’s best and most disciplined game of the year and GT’s worst (worse than Miami) for UGa to win this.

While those two events could coincide, it’s doubtful.

I foresee a game that’s fairly close on the scoreboard, but only because of a garbage-time TD.

Bill, the 1978 game was probably the best UGA game I ever saw in person. It was a cold day and we were getting whipped. My buddy and I started drinking Jim Beam very heavily. There were people on top of the Chemistry building. They had camped out and built a fire on the bridge on Thursday night before the game. Belue replaces Jeff Pyburn, and the rest is history. What a player Woerner was. I recall he came into our English final exam in the spring with no shirt and no shoes on.
