Contributors can order tickets for … whichever bowl Dogs land

sec logoSaturday’s game against Kentucky might clarify Georgia’s bowl position some — or might muddy the picture even more. But no matter where the Dogs go bowling, contributors to the William C. Hartman Jr. Fund (aka the Bulldog Club) are able to start ordering tickets online as of today at Georgiadogs.com.

Contributors also will be mailed a bowl ticket application on Tuesday, good for requesting bowl game tickets until the priority deadline of 5 p.m. on Dec. 4. Orders will be accepted by mail, phone and online.

All of the SEC-contracted bowl games in which Georgia might be selected to play will be listed. The athletic association will not charge purchasers’ credit cards until the bowl bid has been officially determined. Orders will be filled only for the game in which Georgia is selected to play and tickets will be assigned based on contributors’ cumulative Hartman Fund score. Any orders received after the priority deadline will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis regardless of priority.

In addition to clicking on the tickets link at Georgiadogs.com, contributors can call the ticket office at 1-877-542-1231. As usual, only Visa and MasterCard will be accepted.

Tampa’s a definite possibility if Georgia beats the Wildcats (and even more so if the Dogs win out), but if I had to bet on where Georgia will wind up, I’d say Atlanta or Nashville are more likely.

Let’s all try to order tickets to Tampa and the Chick-Fil-A bowl. Presales could help us stay out of Nashville, Memphis, and Shreveport.

The way this year has gone I would say that Atlanta or Nashville would be silver linings to an awful year. Outback would be great. CBSSports.com has UGA going to Nashville against Boston College. The better match up would be UGA aganist Clemson in Chick-fil-a Bowl. Whatever happens just “Finish The Drill” aganist Kentucky and that trade school on North Ave.

SORRY…. CLEMSON IS GOING TO BEAT DOWN THE BUGS IN TAMPA, GIVING THEM THE RIGHT TO GO TO THE ORANGE BOWL.

ON THAT NOTE, I THINK THE CHICK-FIL-A BOWL SELECTION COMMITEE LEARNED THEIR LESSON WITH GEORGIA TECH LAST YEAR……

GLORY GLORY TO OLE’ GEORGIA!!!!

UGA dont want no part of Clemson, CJ Spiller will shred the UGA defense! Nashvilles Music City Bowl against BC would give CMR an opportunity to avenge his first bowl loss.

Wow.

I mean… he was young, but he never did look energetic on the sideline, did he?

More than any Uga I’ve ever seen, he spent more time laying down in his house on his ice.

Maybe he just couldn’t take the heat and the wear and tear.

They may need to introduce some new genes into the bloodline.

Sorry to hear that about UGA. I’m not UGA fan but it is a shame.

Maybe this can be a rallying point for the team?

Sad sad day…UGA Died…..I am just ready for this season to be over. Play KY and Tech and be done. This season is a big black hole in the history of UGA. I am done for this year now. Horrible, but fiting end to this season. Hopefully we dont have to endure a bowl game as well.

Uga VII died of a heart attack.

It is thought that his heart couldn’t take another season of a Willie Martinez-led defense.

Mark Richt’s career sure can’t.

Why do y’all seem so defeatist? The season isn’t over. Your team has disappointed, ok I get that, but c’mon guys? Before the season started all yall were jumping all over me for my Horns pride, and now you seek solace in not playing a bowl game? Really?

Your mascot just died and you don’t want to go off and win won for it? Besides, wouldn’t ruining GT’s title hopes make it all worthwhile? Shutting “St. Simons” up? I said it before and I’ll say it again: I’m no UGA fan. But this is NOT what I expected from UGA fans.

When it comes to supporting your team, you UGA fans seem to be all hat and no cattle

Baylie and I just got back from Atlanta. We picked up the skybox tickets today at the AJC’s downtown office. Three tickets and a parking pass. Many thanks to all who voted for Baylie in the Ultimate Fan Contest. And thank you to Baylie for letting her Dad use one of the tickets.

About the same time we walked in the door the news broke that UGA VII passed away. It has saddened us tremendously. Our condolences to the Seiler family.

Hook Em, there are still a good number of us that will show up and yell no matter what. Looking forward to the last two games and the bowl actually. I am sure there will be a moment of silence in the stadium during or before the game for UGA VII. And for those who think that is a little much for just a dog, maybe.

But not too much for a DAWG!!!

RIP UGA VII

Hook em Horns: Yes, I would love to go beat UK and GT for UGA but lets be real realistic here- this team cant do it. they put it together for Auburn but that will be the end of it. I am just tired of all the same old crap. In order for real change to happen- we cant win the next two or three games- if we do, then it will be an excuse to stay the course just like the other years have been. You already see Bobo talking about how they are growing up and the line is gelling etc. No one is addressing the season after season of blowouts etc….sorry- but losing the next two makes change mandatory. I love UGA and support UGA but we need to do something and not let late season runs give Coach Richt an excuse to stay the course…….

Kyle,

Is losing really what you WANT? Don’t try to sell that point of view as a good idea. It’s not; it’s idiotic. If you want Georgia to lose, then nothing else you might say related to the Dawgs has any meaning; you’re no better than a Tech fan at this point.

You’re so hung up on your hatred for particular coaches that you would rather Georgia lose so that you could be “right”. That’s pathetic.
