As a Tech fan and graduate I must admit that Greene was/is a class act all the way. I got to meet him at a social function once and he was very classy and humble. He was very quick to give credit to his teams at UGA for being responsible for a great deal of his success and was also quick to point out how much Richt had influenced his development. UGA fans should keep that in mind when evaluating the season once it is over.

great to hear the recap of georgia’s greatest games and be able to place where i was during each one. i doubt it the trigger will be pulled to get TCU def cor.

Todd, Green played from ‘01-’04, won an SEC title and played for another, losing to eventual National Champion LSU. UGA wound up 13-1 in ‘02, winning the East, kicking Arkansas’ butt in the SEC title game, kicking FSU’s butt in Sugar. Final AP ranking #3. When did they “back in” anything?

Got to talk with David Green this year at the Florida game, Very humble person and probably the best QB we’ve had since Fran the Man. He could probably pass for one of Mark Richt’s offspring. Just a few inches taller is all. Still think he could be playing in the NFL, especially after watching the likes of Orton, Brady Quinn, and the list goes on and on of pro QB’s that David could beat out at the QB position.
Same here Bill on the Teeing it up betweeeeeeeeeeen the hedges with Brook Whitmire, section I sit in always gets up for that.

Hey Hutchinson….you’re such a young pup….you don’t have a clue about what Rex accomplised in his time at Georgia. He was an All American place kicker, and was as good a kicker as I have ever seen play for Georgia….and that goes back to 1959. What did Abe Lincoln say? “It is better to be thought a fool…than to speak and remove all doubt!” You have a lot to learn pup!!!!
