How about NO bowl. Bulldogs are so bad (UK 34, UGA 27) that they should decline any bowl that is offered. Then to top it off the team is soo bad that UGA VII would rather be dead than to continue with this sorry season. GT will destroy them next week.

I remember several years back that Georgia went to the Outback however the next year was not chosen by the Outback (who chose South Carolina) due to UGA having been the prior year. The very next year South Carolina was chosen again thus making the Outback a sham. Any true Georgia fan would remember this.

There are too many bowls rewarding too many teams and coaches with mediocre records. Mark Richt should spend the time in Athens re-examining his staff and revamping his recruitment plan to address some serious player personnel shortcomings.

IF Florida loses to Alabama, why in the Hell would I transport my sorry butt to New Orleans to watch a team who LOST a chance at EVERYTHING to play a team that is ECSTATIC to be there. Great!! Sounds like a real fun time!! Think of Utah-Alabama. can’t blame kids for not being motivated to play in a game that anyone with an acumen of brain matter would realize is meaningless. But you let those bowl hustlers con you into attending these Drudge Fests. And then you wonder why there will never be a playoff. Why in the Hell would they produce a playoff when they have hundreds of thousands turning out to watch games that no fans–other than alums–are interested in. Boycott this crap, show the powers to be that you are no longer buying it and they will incorporate the best of the bowls into a playoff system and we can have some sensibility.

This from a Florida grad who has seen his team benefit from craziness.
