Maybe the fans should shout "Fire Willie Martinez !" in unison rather than booing. Then the players will know it's not them!

Bill King, you're a joy to read. I could not agree more w/you as to booing Ga players. It's a game! They're 18-21 year old kid's. Support our team but there's no place for boos in the college game

And BTW we can really stop mentioning Kirby Smart and Amatto for DC.

Kirb will not leave Bama BC the defensive sensei is coach and relieves any confusion and or lack of knowledge for his DC. I doubt KS would be the same caliber coach without Saban "at this point"

Amatto....I saw NC State and FSU defenses....nuff said

This is crazy! I played between those hedges and whether your playing or in the stands, you know exactly why the BOO Birds are raining down! I watched that game in amazement. Auburn was the idiotic ones. They had a set that we didn't stop...they stop running. They gained 9-10 yards every time they ran the screen to the 3 WR side. We didn't make 1 adjustment to that set.

As far as Joe goes, you have to feel bad for him but also be honest with the situation. He panics in the face of pressure. There were some unbelievable sacks taken. Even the diving catch by Charles and the turn around catch by A.J. should have been 15-20 more yards but bc of bad throws, it was "Just enough". UGA has settled for good enough for as long as I have been around. No one demands perfection and that’s a problem for me. The missed Auburn pick was a gift not execution. Auburn not running a play that got first downs every time was stupidity not GA adjustments!

Our defense did a good job of keeping their running game between the tackles but they could have thrown the deep in all night. It was always there. We did not change how we lined up once depending on their sets. The only difference was later in the game, we got some sort of pressure from the front 4, which is something we can not count on.

You guys on here talk about recruiting and booing. That's laughable to me. Recruits aren't swayed by boo's but they are by a mediocre program with issue's on the national stage. Who wants to come play for the 80th ranked defense in the land with no clear change in site? Or an offense that has not showed up in a game where we were not supposed to win all season. These kids don't take the field to beat ppl, but rather it just looks like they are there to try. That is the personality that they take on from the coaching staff. Just the way it is!

Just the way I see it....

I do not like it when I hear the boos. I agree that it has no place in college footbal or Sanford Stadium...particularly on a night when we had SO MANY RECRUITS in town for a visit.

I realize there was a lot of frustration in those boos but if I was considering Georgia and heard that, I would consider my other options.

Pitbull,

I half way agree with you. Yes coaching isn't great, and yes Coach Richt isn't great at evaluating talent( which is a MAJOR PROBLEM). But this isn't a Championship caliber team. There is some talent there, but it's young and undeveloped. Championship teams have depth and experience and we just don't have it. With that being said, I do believe that sometimes players and coaches can WILL themselves to be Champions. The 2007 Dawgs are a good example of this: they just decided "you know what screw it! We're just as damn good as Florida is. Let's go out there and kick their ass!". And that attitude carried them the rest of that season. But you can't blame attitude totally on coaching. The players need to take some ownership there as well and step up. I mean they're the ones playing the game you know?

And I also disagree with Bill about Caleb King. Yes he had a great night Saturday and deserves playing time next week for his efforts. But Washuan is still our best back. He ran the ball for 98 yards and 1 TD to Caleb's 76 and 2 TD's. But I think the O-Line deserves the Lion share of the credit. They did a great job Saturday! Our passing game still needs work. That pass to Orson Charles was not a good throw, Charles just made a GREAT play. I also don't understand the short passing game or the run's on 3rd and 15( has this play EVER been successful?). I mean does Bobo have THAT little faith in Cox? I mean why get conservative now? But when the running game is going like it should, it doesn't matter.

The Dawgs won't need Green or Rambo against Kentucky, but even if they're back in two weeks, it won't make any difference in the serious whupazz that GT will put on the hapless Dawgs.

And dammit, winning against a second-rate Auburn team just means that we'll probably have to put up with Richt, Martinez, and Bobo another year.
