Coyote, that Reggie Brown play scared the hell out of me. I recall my wife and I both praying for that young man because we thought he was dead. We had that again this year with Zac Etheridge against Ole Miss.

I seriously thought Reggie Brown had a broken neck. That was a great win for AU that day along with our great 2004 undefeated season, but that play was a nightmare for both sides. I am glad he got well and went on to the pros.

"BAMA STAN" is that like Afghanistan? A gomer infested, poorly managed, desolate, armpit of a place that nuclear weapons testing would represent urban renewal?

Timmy Tebs need to recall that Tim Tebow lost to Auburn TWICE and I think is the only SEC team he has never beaten. We beat UF both at your house and at ours. I wont say AU owns Tebow because there is too much respect for him as a person and as a player, but he owns the losses.

First, "L-Dawg" needs to turn off the caps key. It leads to an assumption of stupidity or old age. Either way, the assumption is you have an irrelevant opinion.

Second, Auburn fans dislike Georgia with great intensity. Georgia's obnoxious (usually drunk) fans, stadium PA announcers, homer radio personnel, and Lousy traffic make for an unpleasant experience in Athens. It wasn't always this way. When I was at Auburn in the early 80's, the Georgia game was fun. You were either celebrating or commiserating, but either way the brown liquor flowed in two directions and it was fun. Not in the last 10 years at least. Not since UGA fans started throwing vodka bottles out of the upper decks. Respect seems to have disappeared about the same time that Democrats and Republicans started losing respect for differing opinions.

You guys need to figure out your teams wardrobe. I mean, you will NEVER see teams like Auburn, Alabama, LSU, and usually Tennessee, change their uniforms for an opponent. The brand is built on winning tradition and the iconic image of the uniform. Georgia used to be in that same mix then started giving that up for this silly black out thing. Yall get confused with Grambling.

Poor L-Dawg. I wonder if this loser has scraped the Obama/Biden bumper sticker off his rusty old Camaro yet.

Auburn 52, UGA 17. Beatdown City for sure.

Geographical location does affect disdain for a particular rival. The UGA fans I know in North GA (outside of Atl) seem to hate the Vols. just a little more than the others. The UGA fans I know in the Atl. metro area seem to hate GT the most. In South GA it's UF. Around Columbus and West GA it's Auburn.

For me, rival hatred depends on how well we're doing against a rival in recent years. In the 80s, I hated Auburn the most. However, since the 90s I would say UF has been the one I loathe more than the others.

War Jacket:

Your memory of the "nuclear winter" of the Goff/Donnan era is selective. Ray Goff had a 5-2 record against the Jackets.
