Robinson was being kind. The type players being recruited are evidently uncoachable( 11 penalties against Tenn Tech), are awful on fundamentals such as tackling, blocking, and protecting the ball. Richt must make some hard decisions on the staff he employs and the kind of players he wants recruited. The buck stops with him.

First, of the 4 teams being discussed, (UGA, GTU, UK and AU) would you believe Uk has the best D? But arguably the worst offense. Defense wins games, but not for these 4 schools. Each remaining game on UGA’s schedule will likely be a shootout. Tech fans who actually know football know their defense stinks. Unfortunately, it is very hard to find GTU fans who actually know anything about football, as you can tell by the posts by all the Tech fans who have responded here. I hate living here when Tech up and has their one good season per decade because of all the so-called fans of GTU suddenly come crawling out from behind their computer monitors and World or Witchcraft to attempt to discuss football.

Rex is right – we could go on a 3 game win streak, or be 1-2, or even 0-3. Penalties have killed us. Where was the defense in South Carolina, Arkansas, UT? We’ve actually done pretty good outside of those 3 games. Where was the offense at OSU, UT, ASU, LSU? Again, penalties, and just not thinking has killed us. The defense was dominant last week. If Willie can keep it up 3 more weeks, may save his job.
