Hey Stats do you have eyes! Are they open? Yea, those top notch recruits at UGA are doing so well on defense this year. Yep, keep up that recruiting. Your ranked where? Did you notice Tenuta’s defense cost ND the game against USC? Typical UGA’er. Brag about your great recruiting that doesn’t show up on the field!!!!

I would take Tenuta in a heartbeat. Have you seen the players ND has on defense. Weis recruited nothing but offensive guys. When Tenuta was at Tech he took talent and made one of the top defenses in the country each year. He was also one of the most aggressive defenses I have watched other than Nick Saban. He also knows how to recruit in this area. Imagine what he could do if he had UGA’s talent level and recruiting pull.

Non-dawg observer here, but a lifelong fan. Wanna know why UT “has hope”? Senior laden lines and absolutely nothing to lose. NFL coordinators, not that figurehead Kiffin. It’s also funny to hear others criticize UGA who have had similar or worse situations in the past few years. UGA will probably never hae the fire of Erk’s defenses again. Another laugh is the way others talk about thugs and such while their heroes have dreads hanging out of their helmets, celebrate in the same way as UGA, and look basically the same. Line play is disappointing, but there can be improvement. D just takes attitude. Don’t panic, Dawg fans.

GaDawg, I’m not quite sure why you say that. I was at GSU during some of PJ’s national championship runs. He stayed at GSU after his 1st championship, and won another. Then he went on to Navy and coached there for 7-8 years or so. He took them from an 0-12 team to consitantly going to bowls. He has moved on to better himself, but to say he wasn’t loyal might be a stretch cause he certainly wasn’t hastey about it. There is nothing wrong with taking a promotion from time to time.

True Fan- I’m with you! I just don’t get how speaking the TRUTH about the state of the UGA program, somehow makes you a fair-weathered fan.
So because we actually CARE about what’s going on we’re not true fans?!

You “head in the sand, everything’s fine in disneyland fans” are the ones who need a serious wakeup call. OPEN YOUR FREAKING EYES!!!!

Fair-weathered fans are the ones who just slink away, and quietly put away their gear and you don’t hear from them.

I’m not saying CMR should be fired, I think he’s a good man with a good heart, maybe too good. I think he will make the needed changes in the offseason. If he doesn’t …..????

This is the sorriest collection of coaches UGA has ever had. UGA will lose the next three, very poor season, no toilet bowl, no nothing and Richt with lots of IMPORTANT decisions to be made. Damon Evans with decisions to be made. Does this not bring back the Ray Goff era? For those so scared that bad times might come back, guess what they are here.
