[...] We should have hung at least 60 on these guys like Auburn handled Furman . We looked very uninspired in the 2nd half. What a waste of a year for poor Murray. He should be playing or at least backing up Cox. … Let’s speculate a probable score for your tumble into Bobby Dodd Stadium. If you only have 10 penalties, the Jackets will win with a probable score of …say 38-17. If you wear your tacky black helmets and pants and commit more than 10 penalties, the Jackets will win …Continue Reading [...]

Okay, so we're 5 and 4 now. I'm going to take a holistic approach to our current season's status and not point fingers at our offenisve line coach, our defensive line coach, our QB, or even our head coach. As a fan, all I know is that we're out of the BCS games and going to struggle to even make ourselves bowl eligible now. Not exactly the season I'd hoped for, but oh well there's always next season and I'll continue to support them even in their uneventful bowl game (if we make it that far).

What's got me scratching my head is that last season we had the best QB and RB in the country and couldn't even play in the SEC championship. This season, we lose those two players and now we're really struggling (5-4) with some still really good talent on the team. Even if we were to end up having the best QB and RB next year, we know that's not good enough to make it to the SEC championship. What else can we change? Coaches? I don't want to point fingers, but what else is there when you have all that talent and can't produce?

pollywannacracker, what does "ebarassment" mean? Uh, you went to UGA, didn't you?

OcreBugMan sounds like a real gentlemen with such a generous offer to downtrodden, miserable Dawg fans. That was really kind of him. I nominate him for the "Be Kind to Animals" award this week!

November 28: Georgia Tech 45, UGA 24. Another humiliating beatdown to end a humiliating 6-6 season.

Dawgs are 50-50 against Kentucky.

This week: Auburn 45, UGA 21. I don't want to be there. It will be ugly, with fans screaming for Richt's head.

You people, you people. You just don't get it do you. This team, Auburn, Tennessee, Florida, USC (in Cali), Oklahoma and on & on..... are all going to have bad seasons (plural) it's part of the game. There will be 4 to 5 losses sandwiched between stellar seasons. Right now USC just has the west sewn up and no competition but they still have 2 losses which equivalent to what Georgia is doing in the SEC because of their sos. I don't care if Richt keeps all of his coaches because he has earned the right to atone for this season with the same staff and if that produces the same results, oh well it's a GAME. Go be a Notre Dame fan and see how it feels or a Michigan fan with there lip quivering coach, or go jump on USC's bandwagon and ask for the firing of Pete Carroll since they lost 2 games or Ohio State who has also lost that many. If UGA wasn't my alma mater I'd probably get as far away as I could, not from the team but the ebarassment of the fanbase. You spew the same crap, every week, undisciplined, thugs, bad coaching, thanks experts. Get a freaking life

My! My! How touchy some of the more illiterate Dawg fans become when offered such a gentle reminder of nothing more than a sub-mediocre football season. Let's all be really nice and not launch such petty vindectives and grievances even when our feelings are appropriately and rightfully hurt by the likes of nothing more than a few truthful remarks. We can all be friends, can't we? Tell you what, if some of you UGA fans have such wistful notions of attending a bowl game, there are probably lots of tech fans who will generously accommodate you by inviting you to come along to watch GA Tech play in their BCS game. It is even possible that they may treat you to a few refreshments from the concession stand at halftime. That way you get to see two really great opponents play each other in their BCS bowl and something to eat; and to top it all off, you'[ll definitely benefit by picking up some great ideas on how to raise your own football team from the appalling depths of sub-mediocrity. And afterwards, we'll treat you like BFFs. Now how is that for the gentile ways of sportsmanship and class? Do have a wonderful day!
