Here’s for our running backs. I just watched tape on Caleb King from high school. He had alot more cutting ability and burst his junior year, but I wonder if after he broke his leg he will ever be the same running back. Yes, blocking ability is important, but your ability to not get hit directly on the numbers, is even more. Caleb King doesn’t do that. In his two year career ive yet to see him burst around the side, or break a tackle. What does that say? The only yards he’s earned is from good run blocking. As for the QB/WR situation, has anyone else noticed that Joe Cox locks onto one receiver, namely AJ, in which gives defenses time to react. I say we see more of Dontavious Jackson, Washaun Ealey, Rantavious Wooton, and Branden Smith on offense. Throw the ball down field to Smith and see what he can do with it. On D, someone please put Jeff Owens, Kade Weston, Geno Atkins and Justin Houston in for the majority of the snaps. Its obvious that they are your best lineman, who cares if three are DT’s, get your best players on the field. Period

The Bulldogs really need to make a change at the QB position now, especially for this game against T Tech. Georgia can not afford to start the 2010 season with an unseasoned QB. The Bulldogs need to get next season’s QB some action now. Logan Gray deserves an opportunity to play more than one gimmick play or punt (catch) return per game based upon the performance thus far of Joe Cox alone.

The important part of anything that one does is to make good decisions to move forward. I am not seeing any forward progression this year from the direction given to the Georgia Bulldog football team. I do not see good decisions being made.

Bottom line question: Is GA any better today than it was the first game of the season? If not, why? Dad gummit! Cotton pick! Everybody KNOWS we are not better – probably much worse. What could POSSIBLY be the reason? I don’t know – maybe COACHING?

The difference between this coaching staff and that of champions: This staff stays with status quo- give Joe baby another chance to embarrass us. Champions bench players for stupid penalties and interceptions and give others a chance to step up. WE reward bad behavior and it shows 41-17

I hate to say this but…….the best thing that can happen for the future of UGA football is to go 0-4 the rest of the way and puncuate it with a blowout loss to the nerds. MAYBE that will get Mark Richts attention- I honestly dont think his heart is in coaching anymore-

Tech Fans, when you start quoting statistics, you are showing that you are a loser. Learn how to graciously take winning. Who cares how many snaps it takes to score, the bottom line is Tech is scoring more than the teams they are playing, and UGA is at least at this stage about 50/50. Good luck to Tech, quit running down other teams to build up yours. Your teams record stands on its own!

Thanks Coach Richt: Glad to know Cox was “sweating” the decision. Now you have made the “decision” easy for me. NO more money to UGA! I refuse to support a program whos coaches will not take their heads out of the sand. Your decision just guarenteed a blowout by AU and GT at the least. I disagree with your other comment that Murray and Mesenburger will be great players someday- they are at UGA- like many have said and we will be saying the same thing “What happens to the players when they get to Georgia” No discipline….no accountability equauls 41-17. I for one am over it
