Time to let the freshmen play and get them some game experience so next season won't be a loss as well. Yes AM needs to be the quarterback now. No need to stop gap with Logan Gray. If there is any hope for the next 2 to 3 seasons, get Murray his baptism now.

One bright spot. With so few UGA points scored, the kick off team cant screw up so bad.

I am very unhappy to see the comments on-line. They are obviously from people who never played football and do not understand the potential complexity of figuring out what is wrong and how to fix it. The Georgia coaching staff is first rate and they were heros not long ago when they were dealing with other issues that they could identify and manage. They are dealing with a challenge that is perplexing them now. They are certainly more upset than are the ignorant "fans" who are screaming for their heads and infinitely more qualified to get the problem identified and fixed.

The scene: Knoxville - 2001
The play: P44
The now infamous Larry Munson call to all Tennessee Fans: “We just stepped on their faces and broke their nose with a hobbed nailed boot!”

Oh the memories of that great play and day. It was the first time in a decade that Georgia beat Tennessee in Knoxville. I remember Bruce Thornton running out to the middle of the field and stomping all over that power T!

Now, fast forward 8 years and the scene is still in Knoxville. But instead of a hobbed nailed boot, it was a hobbed nailed boot-LEG! Oh, how funny. Jon Crompton ran the same play, a boot leg, over and over and over and over again and UGA could not figure it out! The stout UGA defense could not stop the worst quarterback in the league. He was a superstar. We Vol fans really loved the long pass to Gerald Jones (#4) for a BIG ORANGE touchdown. And of course, Montario Hardesty (pronounced Hard To See) gashed that D for a 39, count them 39, yard touchdown run. Oh, this is just killing me. Oh the joy to beat that UNRANKED team. I thought that was the same team that was ranked No. 1 in last years’ poll. That defense played as if the ball had swine flu. Nobody wanted it. Except for Rambo, not to be confused with John J. Rambo, who intercepted Crompton for a touchdown. I bet you all thought you were about to make a comeback. Sorry folks, but that just was not going to happen. Keep Martinez, we Vol fans really like him. He is not that bad. And we LOVE Bozo…ooops I mean Bobo. Hehe. You get it Bailey? But seriously folks, I will be here all week. Please hold your applause until after the show! Now hit my music! Quote the Raven….never more!!

It was a great day on Rocky Top!

The poll question asked what was the biggest problem with UGA. The options were Offense, Defense, Coaching. There should have been an option for ALL of the Above. GA Special Teams are always very good. But offense AND defense were just as bad. With 45 points scored(6 TD’s) its obvious the defense was like swiss cheese and greatly overmatched. GA’s offense never got closer to the Red Zone than TN’s 32 yard line and only scored 3 points in the game. Its obvious the GA offense was terribly overmatched. And then there’s the coaching. At the half, the score was TN up 21-12. In the second half, TN scored 24 points and GA scored 7. So obviously, the coaches had NOTHING to offer to stop the bleeding. The answer to the poll question should have been, “ALL of the Above”.
