Okay, but what about the previous years when their philosophies were the same and we won conference trophies and BCS bowl victories. All of a sudden now the coaches are wrong? All I'm saying is that, yes, 3-3 is below our expectations (for the coaches as well), but to "boo" the team and inundate the media with infighting and over-critical debate is counter-productive to the program. The saying "united we stand, divided we fall" is true, and we have to have faith that people inside the program know a heckuva lot more than we do. Calling them and telling them they suck isn't how you win games and doing so cast a bad image in anyones eyes.
I believe whatever the cause of everyones dissapointment, it will be ironed out and people will once again show their pride instead of their a.sses.

The AD, coaches, trainers, staff would love nothing more than to finish this season 9-3! Let them do their jobs and try to achieve that mark without the negativity and hounding.

Go Dawgs, but yeah, the gameplan isn't there. The direction isn't there. We could hire Ron Zook if all we wanted to do was reel in great recruiting classes. We need coaching and development! Bobo has lost his offensive vision. Martinez doesn't have a system to match the wits of his opponents. I see lots of talent at UGA, but they either aren't getting coached right, or our coaches don't have the ability to find the athletes they need for THEIR system, which should be VERY well developed considering the Head Coach and coordinators have been there for more than half a decade. We don't even have an offensive system anymore! We just recruit and then Bobo screws around with different plays each week. Richt needs to freshen up or hand over the program to a new coach that will respark the flame.

I agree with Ted Striker. I would bet that none of these fans are on the field, sidelines, coaches box, in the locker rooms, and practice fields. None of you have a personal relationship with the coaches and players. You just want to reap the benefits of their success and brow beat them when the performances dip. All fans who are calling for blood are planting a negative seed in the minds of potential recruits and fueling the opponents fire. I know I'm speaking for a lot of fans, but we all watch the same games and we are all dissapointed in the performances this season. I acknowledge that it isn't even necessarily just this season's performances also. But I have faith and optimism that Coach Richt will do what needs to be done and the team will be a championship contender. I don't feel like the fans need to beat the coaches down every week, but that doesn't mean I'm blind or I settle for the status quo. No more than yelling and screaming about the team's dip in form somehow equates in some peoples minds they are "better" fans because they demand a BCS trophy every year. No one is more aware of the coaches job security than the coaches are.

I don't think you're not a "fan" -- I simply think you're a pizz poor fan. Why? Because you talk about things you know nothing about and you pretend you do.

The issue some fans have with the fans who complain stems from the entitlement complainers suffer from. Just because you are a season ticket holder or buy a jersey every year doesn't give you the right to spread all the negativity. Sure, the season so far hasn't met expectations, but do you think the coaches are happy with that? Do you not think they want the issues resolved and are working towards that as much as fans do? They are the coaches...so let them do their jobs. There are too many arm-chair quarterbacks and the fact is you all are spoiled by what this coaching staff has done during their tenure. You want to talk Georgia Football, fine. You want to cheer the good plays and complain about the bad ones, fine. No one is stopping your opinion, but there is a grander picture and that is recruiting. Recruits pickup on fans' behavior and when the fans act like a horse's a.ss and call for the coaches' heads everytime the team dips in form then the recruits are less likely to be interested in UGA Football and that directly effects the program. Let the coaches do what they do better than any of you. When the season is over then it should be ironed out. Chill.

Big Dog

Will will not leave a quality program in Texas to come coach this disaster. The problem with the UGAY problem starts with the AD and moves downward.

Florida installed Foley, and the rest is history, including football and basketball. You see UGAY does not understand the importance of a good AD, because they are too caught up with CMR's good looks.

This article says it best......"blind loyalty."
