THis may possibly be one of the crappiest ideas I’ve ever heard. Lets move the game from its traditional date to first of the year. What would we have to look forward to for the rest of the season?

I am an old GT Grad, class of 69, I miss the Freshman game on Thanksgiving Day. Strong legs run so that weak legs can walk. This is a different era,,, but this game on Thanksgiving weekend is sacred to me. Don’t mess with it. It works just fine right now.

Stupid idea to consider changing the biggest game of the UGA/GT football year to DragonCon-Labor Day weekend. Sure, the midtown hotels won’t care on bit as they are full of Goths, Gamers, Geeks and Freaks… but the UGA/GT alumni who come from out of town for the game might be pissed that the Marquis, Hyatt, Hilton and Sheraton will booked solid with a waiting list (as is customary for DragonCon).

This is a terrible idea! This game is a Thanksgiving weekend tradition, the end of the regular season for both teams and needs to remain so. Please Damon, don’t agree to this!

GD, it’s die hard not die heart. It’s won not one or vice-versa. There ( not they’re or their) are three homonyms of to, two too as well. Seriously, you semi-literate rubes make the universities you purport to represent (which I doubt you have seen on a weekday with a backpack) look awful. Until you get a reasonable grasp of the English language please abstain from blogging. I am speaking to both camps here. That said, there is no way this will ever happen; and while I normally enjoy reading this blog, Bill is clearly gasping for a story here. I can see doing it at the Dome T’giving instead of Dodd on an semi-annual basis to accommodate the sure to swell attendance now that tech has gotten better with an a$$hole, pragmatic coach (wish we had one) there is no way in he!! it will be the first or even a mid-season game. UGA/Tech is and will always be the regular season finale.
