Regarding the celebration penalty, guess who was the head of the NCAA Infractions Committee that put this rule in and, as I understand it,was a big promoter[and still is] of the rule?

None other than "Smiling" Vince Dooley

-Richard Samuel SHOULD be moved to LB. His speed and athleticism would do much more for the TEAM there.

-Washan Ealy has not only earned more playing time, he needs to be given his shot as the featured back for the Tenn game. This is what's best for the TEAM

-Cox has had a couple of nice games, but let's be real. What big time read has he made? He basically puts some air under the ball and chucks it and then AJ, Mike Moore, T.King run underneath it and make him look good. At this point, the best thing for the TEAM and the TEAM's future is to turn the reigns over to Logan Gray, and get A.Murray MEANINGFUL snaps.

Get B.Smith more touches on offense. I just don't get it. Ever since he made that 61yd td run he's just basically disappeared from the offense. He should be in as this again is what's best for the TEAM.

Commings and Rambo need to become starters because.......you got it it's what's best for the TEAM.

It is painful to watch talent squandered because the coaches are trying to do what's best for a few individuals and not what's best for the TEAM. What happened to the "TEAM-me" philosophy?

News flash while the celebration call was questionable, that's not what lost us the game. 49yds of offense due to unimaginable play calling in the firs half cost us the game. Also, let's not take anything away from LSU's heart, they're backs were up against it and they needed a score with a 1:09 left and man-ed up to win the game.
Hopefully we will see these changes sooner than later. I have a hard time believing that if a casual fan can see the need for these moves that the coaches can't either. Please spare the "we don't know what's going on in practice" speak I could care less, I'm looking at what goes on during the games the only time it MATTERS!

Enter your comments here This is the first time ive felt the need to blog on UGA. I have been a FAN my whole life!! I have spent lots of $$ on UGA articles over the yrs. I almost want to box everything up!! CMR to me is too calm. Theres no desire (FIRE) or what ever you want to call it, in him. He looks and acts the same way on the side lines if we are winning or loosing. UGA has good talent but not being used in the right way. If FLA played with the same playbook as UGA they wouldnt look that good either. I dont have the answer but something has to give here. We NEED a FIRE not a spark. WAKE UP UGA!!!!! Go borrow another teams playbook or something.... Heck even when we are winning against a bad team we hold back so that the score is close..what tha..run the score up coach.. dont worry bout lookin too aggresive..the poles reflect on that kind of stuff. CMR is too conservative!!! Bottom Line!

Green makes Cox look much better than he is. Take Green out of the mix and Cox is a below average QB.

Even Kevin Butler asked why we don't have a special teams coach. It is clear that Cox is not going to lead us to much of anything. Why not let Gray or Murray play so we aren't going through the growing pains of an inexperienced QB again next year?? Bobo is Dooley's nephew and Martinez was Richt's college roomate, they aren't going anywhere unless hired away.

The only bright spot on this entire team is Green. Ealey has potential.

Bill King, you are dead on. Considering Prince Miller's normal return yardage and that his muffed punt happened when his own man interfered with him, he definitely needs to be given those chances. Especially in a game like this where field position was so important.

And the first half play calling was pathetic. I almost wondered if there's something secretly wrong with Cox's arm that Bobo was calling plays around -- either a deep ball or a dump pass, never attempting to hit a receiver on a normal short to middle route. On one possession I even thought, here it comes, run on first down, throw long on second, screen pass on third, and punt. I was right. If they're going to sell out on stopping the run, you have to adjust your game plan accordingly. Work the ball down the field with your possession receivers and tight ends 8 to 12 yards at a time!

And Richt, PLEASE do something about the kickoff coverage.

Hats off to the defense. Too bad it wasn't enough.

1) UGA does not have the draw to produce top-notched players year-in, year-out.
2) UGA does not have the coaching masterminds needed to overcome #1 above.

Thus, learn to be content. Those leading the UGA football program are.
