Win game tickets: Be our next Fan of the Week!

It seems like every UGA fan who has a dog, whether it’s a bulldog not not, has some sort of red and black doggie sweater or some other school-related get-up for the pet to wear.
Cats are a bit more difficult, but I’m sure some fans have managed to get their felines into the Dog spirit, more or less.
And that’s the theme of our third Junkyard Blawg Fan of the Week contest: Showing your UGA spirit through your pets.
Send us a photo of your pet by midnight on Oct. 27. You have a bit more time for this contest, so we’re expecting you to get creative and show your originality. We’ll narrow the entries down to four finalists and put it to a vote of the readers.
The winner gets two tickets to the Tennessee Tech game and their picture up on the big video screen in Sanford Stadium.
A grand prize winner later in the season will get to attend the final home game with me in one of the sky suites.
So here’s a chance to show off your pet while sharing your Bulldog spirit!

We are the fan of the week. We are salivating at what we have seen so far from the Dawgs and we can’t wait to get you down to Florida at the end of the month. We are the best defense in College Football and any team that beats us will have to hold our offense to under 24 points.

Florida D = 7.25 ppg average allowed in 4 games. If a top team beats them they must contain the offense to a low score because the defense is not going to make many mistakes and that is not likely to happen until maybe the Georgia Dome or Pasadena.

Florida is only allowing 7.25 ppg because look who they have played. I mean Charleston Southern wow a barn burner, Troy who is not much better, a Tenn team that would have won the game if they had a QB that could throw the ball, and Kentucky. I mean really your PPG should be less than 5 at this point, until you actually play somebody other than Kentucky then you can start talking about how many PPG game your team is giving up, I mean give me a freaking break and schedule somebody worth a crap please. I cant stand Florida talking about how their the best team in the nation, when they are not. You will get my respect when you play some real teams and when, until then you wont get it.

49-10 scdawg, do you remember that? We don’t need your respect sir we just want to beat you again on Oct. 31 to make the record for the decade 8 wins Florida, 2 wins Georgia. Now that is pretty bad scdawg. We will never get your respect if we don’t have it by now with our absolute dominance of you the past two decades and with 3 National Titles in that time period. Yeah, no respect needed. We will take the W’s, the SEC Titles, the National Titles and feel just fine. By the way Tennessee is a real team and UGA will have their hands full against their defense and most likely lose.

scdawg- Come back to reality. The entire Florida defense is back from last year with better skills and a year older. This team was a great defense last year and will be one of the best this year. Lets see how they performed last year in Key games:
National Title Game- 14 points allowed
SEC Title Game- 20 points allowed
GEORGIA- 10 points allowed

Ga has just lost on a bad call from the officials, but UGA football needs a QB. Joe Cox makes to many mistakes and takes forever to get going. With all of that talent on the bench, we need a QB change. GA’s defence is playing great, but GA is to one dementional, because no running back has stepped, they all look like they’re looking for a place to fall, rather than running the ball. THey need to start a new QB and put #24 Easly in to play the hold game. Mike Bobo’s play calling leaves a lot to be desired, why not go north and south on the full back pass, Chapes is slow anyway and when you send him out on sideline pass, any team in the SEC with there speed will stop that.
