Our panel of judges has selected the four finalists in the second week of the Junkyard Blawg Fan of the Week contest, with the theme “Bulldogs colors” (game day attire). They run the gamut from superhero costume to sundresses, with the obligatory face paint and fright wigs, too.
Now it’s up to you. Take a look at these photos, pick your favorite and then vote in the poll. The winner, to be announced Wednesday, will receive two tickets to the LSU game on Saturday in Athens.

I tailgait with pic.#3 and believe me they have team spirit. They also bring their own trash bags,their spot is spotless when they leave. They know better….. Luv them all and can’t wait for game weekends.

Those girls really do look like the other 50,000 girls in Athens on game day. One of them’s not even wearing red, and my guess is that most of them didn’t even enter the stadium on whatever game day that picture was taken. I’ll bet they’d all be hard-pressed to name more than two current UGA players. And which two of them will get to use the tickets they’ve won?

Gene…if you look at the full blog post and see the descriptions of the pictures, you could see that picture #3 was taken at the GA/FL game last year. Therefore, a “Gator Hater” shirt is very appropriate. Thanks.

Fan of the week? Hands down the Florida Gators because with what they have seen so far they are salivating and can’t wait for Jacksonville to bring them back to reality. Stafford + Moreno and the #1 Pre-Season ranked Dawgs = 10 points in Jacksonville.

I understand that most girls wear those outfits to the games, however, that is the point. It is the classiest attire of the group and those who discourage choice 4 due to the popularity of the attire are actually affirming that as the proper choice. Classy attire = most common attire; Most common attire = UGA attire; Classy attire = UGA attire. Choice 4 is the obvious choice.

I have met the dude with the painted bulldog on his bald head…even though I was wearing gold he is definitely a nice guy and a true fan. Definitely not representative of the lowest common denominator UGA fan.

To be fair, they should have published a picture of six average male Georgia fans in polo shirts, khaki shorts, and Croakies, like 99% of the rest of the guys in the stadium. In fact, they probably should have posted only pictures of people wearing standard-issue gameday attire.
That would provide some balance with the picture of six average Georgia girls in sun dresses (including a girl without any team colors whatsoever) — the picture that’s winning this contest in a landslide.

TO PEABODY: As one of the girls in #4, (the red dress on the far right)- I have to say you obviously know nothing about Georgia girls! As a matter of fact- 1) we DID go to the game, 2) black is also a Georgia color last time I checked, 3) I’m sure most of us could name the starting line-up for the Dawgs, and 4) explain the difference between the strong side and the weak side. Someone so obviously bitter and quick to judge should probably be wearing black and gold and attending games in Atlanta. Don’t hate on Georgia girls- we are the best in the world. Go Dawgs!
