Meansonny has got it right! All the defensive coordinators at Texas, Alabama and Florida are former Bulldogs and their teams are in the top five! How come if we can turn out such good DC's, how come one of them is not at Uga!

The defense's biggest problem? It wouldn't be lack of playing time! Hint, hint!

I was talking to a season ticket holder this morning at the gym. I asked him how he was feeling about the upcoming games, what it costs to be a ticket holder, etc... He was up front about his opinion about the team performance, and his expectations for the remaining games. He was NOT optimistic, like everybody else. He did not say he was foregoing future ticket orders, but he is definitely mulling it over. The hierarchy at UGA should know that all alums are not brain dead about their sports programs. The status quo is NOT ACCEPTABLE and the very thought that $$$$$ may soon be spent on Sanford Stadium and Stegman riles up more than a few. Priorities might be to get the sports programs in order BEFORE spending money on the amenities that just might be empty if the current atheletic situation is not addressed.

Thanks Meansunny. We are badmouthing our own team. How do you think we sound to prospective recruits? Could a lot of the complaining be coming from the opposition? I know for sure a lot of it is intended to make Georgia look really bad and we have so much to be thankful for. Lets stop crying like babies and watch our team get a little better each week. Come on Dawgs get tough and support your team. Just because you attend games and donate money think before you run your mouth. Do you want recruits to read all this negative publicity? Hope we see improvement this week and remember the incoming class of 2010 has (so far) 13 defensive players and 5 on offense and they are outstanding players and many of these players praise CWM saying he is one of the main reasons they like Georgia so much.

Yes Dawg on it, that's what you should do. You should not criticize anyone unless you can do a better job. Of course, in all the complaining about WM I don't remember seeing anyone saying that they could do a better job, only that we are sure someone better could be hired.

Let me ask all of you WM apologists something. If one of your good friends worked under you and was not pulling their weight could you let them go???? Even it meant possibly damaging a friendship??? Didn't think so. Richt's a good coach, I just hope his loyalty to WM won't end up affecting his own job.

Biggest problem on defense? They gave up 78 points in the last two games against average at best teams. You can't compete with the elite with a defense like that.

Good Lord, all the whining on this blog would make me think we are 0-2 in the mighty SEC, but we are not, we are 2-0!! All you "Fire Willie" fellows need to go apply for his job since you know how to make the defense perform better than Willie. He hasn't forgot how to coach. I trust Mark Richt, who has been a blessing for UGA and trust him to make the right decisions at the right time. All of you idiots stating that Mark Richt is blinded by his loyalty to Willie are part of the lunatic fringe referred to by meansonny. All of you asking for Damon Evans or Michael Adams to step in and make changes are insulting Mark Richt. How about supporting the team through good and bad times, and admitting that none of you could coach in the SEC. GO DAWGS
