First Fan of the Week winner!

Justin's Bulldog wheels.

Justin's Bulldog wheels.

The voters have spoken and we have the first week’s winner of our Junkyard Blawg Fan of the Week contest.

The winner is a fan who calls himself “Justin” for his photo of a VW bug decorated to look like a UGA football helmet, complete with the “bones” on the back for big plays.

Congratulations to Justin, who wins two tickets to the next UGA home game. We’ll have details of the Week 2 contest here tomorrow.

Go Dogs!

i thought the bones were for when they read a book all by themselves. the black ones are for books without pictures.

I’m waiting for the announcer to say after a big Georgia win ” AND THE GIRDERS ARE BENDING”
or I’ll take ” OH MY GOD A FRESHMAN”……………………..I’ll be happy with either.

But Diddy, we had ‘em Transfermers cars. You know, when all them sweaty yeller jackets were takin’ photos with their shirts off ‘n stuff. They’s all duded up like my boyfriend. Why no yeller jacket prizes for yeller jacket carz?

guy -
Glad you brought that up. I hate it when coaches emphasize individual vs. team accomplishments.
Question: are the white bones like gold stars, and the black ones like demerits?

Cool ride. As a former ‘67 beetle owner, I like it. Maybe Georgia should Justin’s car to bring out the team, ala the Ramblin’ Wreck. Uga and his little stubby legs would get winded.

The bones represent the number of games Georgia leads in the series with Teecchh.
That’s why the player’s helmets are covered with bones.

uhhh…I need a do-over: “Maybe Georgia should ‘use’ Justin’s car”. This keyboard doesn’t have the same feel as the old green-key IBM manuals. I used to type 40 wpm in high school except when my fingers were taped and splinted during football season. Now I just use the index fingers and try to aim right.

Be happy that you caught it before some others here did. It could have gotten ugly. Moggs you might want to duck as well. :) Techie it took me a few re reads but I figured what you were trying to say. Too many English majors here to be a fat finger blogger like me.

Congrats Justin on your win.

RedMan,

The white bones are for on-field accomplishments such as a great catch or throw, pass deflection, etc., and the black bones are for classroom acccomplishments.
