Poor Joe just doesn’t know when to keep his mouth shut. First the snide “never played a down” comment last week about the vocal fans and this from the post game interview about the interception: “No, I’m not,” he said, still smiling. “I mean, I was laughing with [Norwood] out there. I knew it was a play where we we’re going to throw the ball. And it was one of those things where I could work either side. I kind of even saw Norwood, and I was like hmm, and I decided to throw it anyway and he made a great play.” Throw it any way? Good lord if you saw him in your throwing lane why make the “decision” to throw it? Just keeps on giving fuel to the anti Joe crowd.

He may think the fans do not “understand” what it takes to do his job, but they are the ones paying the BIG bucks to fill the stadium and drive the machine that gives the schollys that keep this program going. He is a psych major and KNEW better than to snap back with that comment. He has had a tough week, being sick, falling sort of his expectations, and those of the bulldog nation, so he reacted emotionally when he spoke. I HOPE he also fell short of his COACHES expectations, i just never really know anymore, loosing is not ok with fans and it should not be ok with the TEAM and COACHES!!!
