"Maybe one day Tech football will be as prominent as UGA football and they will have something to blog about".

That day is now dude. It started in the 3rd quarter last November (26-0) and increases weekly. georgia is running scared and Tech is poised and enjoying every minute of the "changing of the guard".

In two weeks, we will have 3 wins when you have 3 losses. I'll remind you. Bank on it. But it won't do any good, because like so many of you true georgia fans, you will be nowhere to be found. Or if you do return here, you will be using a new handle (I can't blame you) or writing without listening because you just have too much koolaid wax in your ears.

Either way, Georgia Tech has always owned you in the classroom, but now you are our little bitch in football, basketball and baseball. You azzholes can keep your gymnastic, equestrian and other Title 9 dominance (for now).

Dawgs offense leaves much to desire although I believe they can get better as the season goes. If Thomas can hang onto the ball, I'm starting to think that he and King will be better than Samuel who only broke one tackle the entire game. Jello legs.

I love listening to Georgia "fans" call for people's job each and every year. I think it's great! Last year Bobo was a genius and this year he's a goat. Last year Martinez was a goat and now he's a genius. Georgia "fans" are so hypocritical. It's just one enormous band-wagon. Love 'em when they win and hate 'em when they lose. And my favorite thing is that it's always someone else's fault when Georgia loses. The other team being the better team has rarely ever been the case. It's either Bobo, Martinez, Richt, or the officials every time Georgia loses. I would like for a Georgia fan to admit, just once (without crossing their fingers like five-year-olds), that Georgia isn't the greatest football team to ever bless a football uniform and they were beaten by a better team. I think it will be a long season for the Dawgs and all of their "fans". I look forward to reading the excuses after the next UGA loss.

I, for one, don't care what the stat line says about penalties. I don't care what the rule says about unprotected receivers. Safeties laid the wood and they better not be punished for it. I'd rather see a receiver sitting on his ass wondering where he's at for a 15 yard penalty than a receiver fearlessly going across the middle. Those penalties also included the negated unsportsmanlike penalty on Dez Bryant/Prince Miller (which was a long time coming--and if Prince will continue sitting the nation's best on his ass, he can get all the penalties he'd like as far as I'm concerned) and special teams penalties. They still count, but as a measure of where the starters are compared to last year, we're way ahead.

I'm hoping the arm strength/floated ball issue was Cox's illness. We'll see if he settles in against SCar. I'm not ready to throw in the towel on him because he made pretty decent decisions (which is to say, if he had connected on those decisions, it would've been a game.)

69Dawg is right. Southgadawg did you watch Alabama play VT? Even if VT is not good those kids were playing hard, the same way they played against us last year. Our kids play with no sense of urgency...so most of the time we beat the teams we should beat. GT was not better than us last year...they just wanted it more. When we play teams with vastly inferior talent our lackadaisical attitude does not cost us. In a game more closely matched talent-wise, we lose because the other team wants it more.

Seems like the last time our guys played with any fire was Auburn 3 years ago or Florida (though it was manufactured) a 2 years ago. Too bad Rennie can't give some of his desire to the rest of the team.

When was the last time we lost the momentum and got it back? We do not have a mentally tough team.
