The what if question about Shockley and Greene is interesting to ponder. I can tell you this with a great deal of certainty: Greene doesn’t play in 2002, we don’t win the SEC. Shockley was an “interception waiting to happen” to quote Tubberville.

I think things played out just right for the two QB’s . Shockley got his day in the sun and won his own SEC championship.

Oh my God I just noticed. We have an Exprssway in Augusta named after a Tech grad Bobby Jones. At least we have a suburban community named after our esteemed Defensive Coordinator, Willie “The Fireman” Martinez. Funny how no one else pronounces it right.

If Bobby Jones was a lawyer, when did Tech close their law school?

I thought Sink’s – yes I said Sink – stroll down the 18th fairway was the epitome of narcissism…he actually thought that all that applause was for him.
