Jim Harrick? Oh wait...wrong sport.

Shocked that Moreno, Stafford, Ward, Green, Pollack, Bailey (the other Bailey brother), and Byrd didn't get any love...not insinuating they were better than Hersch, just for numbers sake. Walker is making some good press before the sports legends challenge this fall, more bragging rights I suppose!

I would have said Sinkwich or Trippi ;however I think defense is so much faster this could have altered some players stats to have negetive or positive impact on thier career. So this creates (for myself )a tie for second best player. It's a tag team tie between CHAMP & BOSS and DAVID & DAVID(GREENE&POLLACK)

I think David Pollack and Fran Tarkenton were better than H. Walker. David was such a team player and turned down BIG money deals to go pro so he could play another year at UGA. Fran Tarkenton was not only a great college player, but also among the top in the pros. He made UGA fans proud. These things should be considered when rating a player's greatness.

Out of your picks, it would be Fran Tarkenton. Mine, no question, David Pollack.

David Pollack was a beast. He is the top defensive player UGA has ever had. I never saw a DE beat as many double teams as Pollack did. He was pretty much unstoppable.

Ward was great, but not the second-best ever.

Not sure why he is getting more votes than Sinkwich or Trippi. They were Herschel before Herschel.
