Think you guys have the wins covered…but far and away the most exciting loss I ever saw at home was vs. LSU in 1987. We had a great comeback that was about to be capped off by a long, wide-open flea-flicker TD pass that WR John Thomas lost as he looked for the ball in the setting sun. Crowd was absolutely electric that day, and we came within fingertips to having a game that would have certainly gone down for the Ages in Dawg lore.

Long Dawg, the last Tech coach couldn’t seem to get the job done when it came to beating uga and was fired…. WHY wouldn’t Tech make beating ya’ll a priority? There is no inferiority complex….we just don’t like ya’ll anymore than ya’ll don’t like us….hence, the title, “Clean, old fashioned hate”.

GA vs. Tenn. One thing that we could count on in the 1990’s was losing to FLA and Tenn. I hated the Tennessee game as much as the FLA game. We never could beat them. That was the highlight for me cause it broke the choke hold Tennessee had over UGA.

Of the games I had the privilege to see in person, the absolute domination of Tech 51-7 in 2002 was great. The Dawgs could do no wrong and Tech couldn’t do anything right. The Techies seem to think a 3 point win over the Dawgs last year was the pinnacle of success – so were the Techies all calling Dr. Kevorkian after the 2002 blowout?
The best ending was the Kevin Butler kicking the game winning field goal an absurdly long 60 plus yards to beat Clemson in 1984.

Being only 18, I have seen my share of sick UGA games. I must say that the 21-10 UT game needs to be on the list. We stopped them on a 4th and inches that made Sanford EXPLODE! I also think the WORST “win” -just add to the discusion – was the 2003 Bama game. Up 37-0 at the half, and ending up winnig 37-24, just throwing that out there, GO DAWGS!!!
