Getting closer and closer to the season opener then, we will get to see what we see..it could go for the dawgs or against the dawgs but for the LOVE of the LORD…once it starts we will be dealing with facts..at least about what happened the game before..and THAT we be a great improvement here…and sooooo mannnny of the haters of the dawg nation will have to be quite as their teams will be playing and in soooo many cases losing…bring it boys bring it ! I can’t wait for the opening kickoff…and I hope EVERY team the Dawgs play this year are unbeaten until they play us…this is starting to look like a GREAT SEC college football season…aren’t they all !

Tony, Richt’s honor is what makes QB’s sign with UGA. If he dumped Cox this year in favor of Murray, what are the odds that Mettenberger sticks it out until Murray leaves? I bet those odds go down considerably. Do you think another QB ever signs and stays when a better one signs afterwards? No. Leave well enough alone guy.

Saint Simons…you are not an idiot because you are a tech fan (though that certainly doesn’t help), you are however an idiot for thinking Dwyer and Nesbitt will both finish in the top 5 in the Heisman. I guess you are planning on Tebow, Bradford, and McCoy all dying before December. Good call! Even if they are they are both successful, one takes stats from the other…see genius? The more yards Nesbitt gets, the fewer Dwyer gets. There is only one ball clown.

Really it is too bad they don’t have a blog for the Georgia Tech fans.

Anybody old enough to remember Vince would recruit QBs and if they didn’t pan out he would turn them into defensive ends and tight ends? Be hard to do that these days but if Mettenberger flounders he has the body to maybe pull it off.

Ghetto Tech (GT), you’re so bush league. But I think it’s great when a little bush league technical school has a little success. It gives them hope for the future…false hope, but hope…I HATE TECH. Hey yellow fuzz It’s a shame that your so called football team had to have rings made just for beating UGA but I guess you had to give those seniors something to remember it by since it will probably be the last in quite some time. By the way your fuzz will not be the only thing yellow after UGA pi$$e$ on your parade again this year and starts another decade long streak.

For the first time since probably 2002, we have a seasoned, experienced offensive line that will not be dominated by freshmen. This means Cox will not have to be Superman to win games. If our running backs come through, this could be a very solid team. I personally think Stacy Searels is one of the best coaches in the country and I hope he stays in Athens for a long, long time.

How in the world do you know that Murray is the best QB on the team? Right now, he’s not. Sorry, but he’s not that experienced, he doesn’t have the respect of the team the way Cox does, and he’s undersized. I think he’ll eventually be an amazing passer for us with that lightning quick release of his, but Cox HAS NEVER LOST A GAME AS A STARTER. We are absolutely set with him at that position, and we’ll utilize Gray every now and again to run funky plays taking advantage of his athleticism.

Now my prediction is that Murray does see the field in mop-up duty this year, but Mett redshirts. That way next year you have Jr. Gray, Soph Murray, and RsFR Mett all lined up for a three-way competition for the job. Even if Murray wins out the job next year, you can bet that Gray will be on the field a lot, ala Shockley.
