The greatest place in Athens was the old Dog House across from the Holiday Inn.Ice cold beer and a jukebox full of Led Zepplin.When it burnt down I almost cried.Bob’s Steverinos was good for cold beer,subs and fooseball.Poss’s king crown special was the best for after a football game.Charlie Williams also great.Is it still there?The old B and L warehouse you to cook up some great food for lunch.I miss them all and can’t wait to get back over to Athen’s this fall.LET THE BIG DAWG EAT/

Mexicali on the deck on the eastside.
I used to love peppino’s pizza circa 1998 downtown (2 slices and 1/2 pitcher $4)

Close to campus, the best wings would have to be WOW Cafe’ & Wingery! Big screen TV’s, ice cold beer and great atmosphere.

My sister brought up the hamburger at the old Sub and Steak in Five Points right next to Five Points package store. Bob was at the grill so we called ii Greasy Bobs. Killer Burger for little money.

Best Mexican not across from hospital, but is near Grit/bottleworks, across street

Fuel, across from hospital, is overpriced, and has glacial service.
