Well, let’s take look.

Florida’s so-called “gimmick” offense.
Result: Regular, annual, nationally televised beatdowns

West Virginia’s so-called “gimmick” offense:
Result: 2005 SEC Championship winning mutts lose 38-35

GT’s so-called “gimmick” offense:
Result: Well, we all know well that worked out for the mutts.

Tech outplayed and out hustled UGA period. Good on ‘em. ‘Bout time they won one. The old cliche “you win championships with defence” was the storyline for UGA in 2008. The defense was a no show. It remains to be seen what or who shows up for the Dawgs in this year’s defensive edition. The secondary last year was pitiful, just pitiful. If it does not improve drastically the Dawgs could lose 3 or 4 this year. It also looks like UGA could lack a consistent running back,too. Most of the much heralded high school running backs from Georgia fizzle. Too bad with the kind of O line that it is supposed to have.
