The toughest football player Georgia ever had was Buzzy Rosenberg. Looked like a mini Arnold Schwartzenegger and hit you like a ton of bricks. American Gladiator participant. Beat out 1100 other people to compete at age 40 when most were 25 or younger and zero body fat. He was a beast!

Hands down, Herschel Walker is the best UGA athlete. I would love to see him play again anyday. I heard he is playing at the legends sports challenge, I would love to see him there.

Living in Athens, I am fortunate enough to get to go to several baseball games, every football game, many basketball games, men and women, and several gym meets,as well as track meets. Huge football and baseball fan, but the best athletes by far on campus are the Gymdogs, who also are the most decorated athletes on campus. I've said before that if Coach Richt were as successful as Coach Yoculan, we'd have to pay him 25 million dollars a year and buildings all across campus would be named in his honor. We're just very lucky to have so many fantastic student/athletes on our beautiful campus. Our friends on North Avenue???? Well, not so much.

Tina Price back in the mid 70's she led the basketball team and tennis team. She was a top 15 pick in the first ever womens basketball league...look her up...she has to be in the top 5 overall athletes...I look for somebody who can play and be dominating in multiple sports

I am one of those damn Yankees, but wasn't Fran Tarkenton a Dawg. He at least deserves mention
and T Lowe Herschel may be the ultimate bulldog sports legend but he is not even in the conversation for ultimate sports legend without the UGA qualifier. A great pro to be sure but never quite lived up to his potential
