It's not about character...it's about coaching and preparation. The fact of the matter is urbane does a super job of coaching his special teams and nobody prepares a team for a big game better than saban. When preparation meets opportunity, good things usually happen to those who are the best prepared... we are not being prepared as well as we used to be ... and that boils done to coaching. The defense couldn't tackle, the special teams look more like special ed and the offense didn't know how to manage the game and keep the defense off the field. That's a coaching problem. Hopefully this year, CMR will do a better job of communicating with his coaches!

Injuries are a part of the game. Just saying.

Also, maybe you would have someone to replace those who have been injured if your players could stop getting in trouble.

Dawg Fans I sure hope you"ll beat LSU again this year so that LSU fan will have something to talk about. Bill I like reading your blog because sometimes it only place to find out the news. Keep up the good work.

As far as the Tech game goes, history isn't in Georgia's favor this year. The last time a team only put together a one game winning streak in the series was in 1977 when Tech lost in '76 won in '77 and lost the next couple. Other than that, the series has been one of at least two game winning streaks.

So here is the deal, I see the Gators as being in the same sort of position as UGA last year. However, i do believe we have the talent experience, and depth (if injuries knock on wood) do occur, to overcome them. I'll admit, UGA has me a little nervous. We beat up on ya'll pretty good last year, so i know ya'll will be ready to go. Cox doesn't scare me, but AJ and your O line and defense are pretty good. I think we are more talented, at pretty much all positions, but i'm not counting out the dawgs this year, It seems like whoever is supposed to win these games by a large margin rarely do. We beat your best team in the early 00's, and you guys beat Heisman Tebow. I think we can beat you, but i don't like you sitting there under the radar. Here is to no complacency and a NC Repeat - GO SEC

Whether the Dawgs want revenge or not, it still boils down to injuries. Both our O-line and D-line were hurt by injuries last year, especially our offensive line. When Sturdivant went down, it should have been apparent how our offense would struggle. The defense lost not only Owens, but Ellerbee for a significant portion of the season. Our ability to improve this year will again rest on the injury situation. If we can stay relatively injury-free, we could have a very good team, especially if the O-line jells.

Sure it was not fun giving that game away after building a big lead by the half against the yellow maggots. Stuff happens...if we had gotten a stop on 4th down we win the game. This year the game will be more like the LSU-tech disaster. Paul Johnson is way to confident of their ability and that will come back to haunt him as it did against UGA in the first half, North Carolina, that division 2 school last year at home that should have beat you, and a few other schools. Can wait for the retribution that is coming later this year...even after beating tech so many times it never gets old thanks to the disgusting fans.
