WR- AJ Green (Might Catch Him – IF he stays)

QB- DJ Shockley (then Stafford, then Greene)

I want to talk about the quarterback only. First, Stafford was a good quarterback but made alot of early mistakes while learning to play in the SEC. Remember that part of the reason Staff got drafted #1 is because of his POTENTIAL. It’s a shame that we only had DJ for one year. Who knows how good he could have become. But we can not change the fact that Greene was our most successful signal caller. Therefor he should be the 1st team starter. But I also undeerstand that it’s hard to compare apples to oranges. For example, How good would Staff have been with the personnel that Greene had? How good would DJ had been with more experience under center? Woulda, coulda, shoulda. Greene has to be the starter. IMO!

Tony Gilbert should’ve been listed on the LB team. He was a great one and better than anything we’ve had @ LB for the last five years.

Any all-star team of this era has no credibility when David Greene is excluded. Totally absurd. No criticism of DJ intended!!!!

I like the list because all these guy were great. however i would have like to see T.Davis at his first positon which is LB. J.Phillps at Rov.
Mcmicheal, Watson, Pope, Wiggins were all great TE’S. either one would be a great pick. LB’S THURMOND, DAVIS, KENDRELL BELL.but you can’t leave Boss out,biggest snub is leaving T.Gilbert, M.Stroud, B. Bennett off the list absolutley got it right with D. Gary at punt return, we havent had a threat at PR since he left.(A. Allen and Thomas Flowers were ok)
Stafford had the big arm but decision making not so much. biggest problem i have with stafford is he never won a SEC championship, for 3 years all you hear this kid has a gun for an arm. but where is the leadership, that you want your qb to have, he never displayed any leadership.

Greene at QB! Billy Bennett at K, Stroud @ DT. Bobo & Stafford should be (highly) considered as well. Perhaps Watson @ TE & T.Edwards at WR. The best player of the Donnan/Richt era is Pollack!
