I am a dawgs fan…but nearly everyone who uses this site,( dawgs, techie, gators, etc) act like teenaged jerks. Why don’t you just start crying and beating your head on the floor. Nah! What do you sports dudes think about this ‘human’ as a role model, as an example of a futball playa, as a convicted felon?
My mom would have said ‘Put him UNDER the jail’, but I just hope he made lots of ‘close’ friends there, but he was treated like a celeb, I am sure.

Big Tech fan here! First, I must say that it feels great to FINALLY beat the dawgs! They owned us for the past 7 years, and now the tide may be changing! I can now proudly wear my GT clothing around and not feel like I am the looser that everyone keeps looking at and snickering at!
But honestly, I am a bit weary about this year’s game…hungry dawgs, looking for revenge. Could be a nasty game.
Anyways, good luck to the dawgs, and we will need all of the luck that we can receive!

Fab For Paws- I’ve always been a dog appreciator,owner and adopter. What Vick did was reprehensible and insensitive to living creatures. He paid his debt to our societal laws and will always carry the stain with him his entire life. Rumors are rampant that he will work with the humane society as part of his release, but is not required by law to do so. We should give him the benefit of any doubt that he will be working with such groups and would add tremendously to animal rescue endeavors. If he is allowed to return to pro football to earn a living with his athletic skills he would add even more emphasis to these worthwhile projects. His influence on young minds may turn many people toward a sensitive view of uncared animals. I hope he makes it back soon such that his skills don’t deteriorate to the point that he would disapear into oblivion if allowed to return. As a national spokesperson for animal rights his would be the loudest and best trumpet of all. Control your anger to a “wait and see” until we see what plays out. Sending a person to prison and then ostracizing him when he returns is damning him to oblivion. If that would serve any good purpose it would have been written into penal law long ago.

JH, cut it out! Do you want Cuz to start singing again? I wonder what ever happened to Atlanta Jacket and GT? They actually talked football and didn’t insult people. As to Bill King, I think the guy does his best to give us UGA fans a forum and I appreciate his efforts. The AJC has down-sized, robbing sports fans of some of their best reporters. So we have to make the best of what we have. Hey AJC, maybe you would be in the black if you hadn’t written off half the state! I have got to go now, so you kids try to play nice!

Sorry for the ‘anger’, but it sickens me to see him get a ‘hero’s welcome’ esp from the media….and ‘wait and see’ about the gym teacher who videoed the little girls [let him have is job back, too?] and all the priests that ‘enjoy’ little boys, then get transfered to another team??? I love all the 45-42 Tech comments. You guys would think that you had won a N.C or at least 2 or 3 games in the last 10 years against those Hairy DAWGS.. Vick paid his debt to society. Hopefully he has learned his lesson. Everyone deserves a second chance. But if you really just hate the guy then don’t worry. Unfortunately I think he will screw up again soon enough. I hope I’m wrong but to be honest I just think the guy’s character is seriously flawed and that he’ll be in trouble again.
In reading Mark Bradley’s blog today I was shocked by his supporters. Good Grief! Could you find a more ignorant group of people. I don’t think 2 of them could write a cohesive sentence. The spelling, poor grammar, inability to make plural and singular match, etc.
Where in the hell did these people learn to read and write? I would be much more concerned about the sheer number of ignoramuses our education system is turning out then I would be about Mr. Vick.

As for your response to my post I guess it struck a nerve as gt next year will once again lose to UGA in everything except the Harry Potter edition of Jepardy. Hate to be the one to break it you, but there is always seven years down the road gt can beat UGA so mark your calendar! As for the “ittle kid” comment, I would expect a better gt diss like: “your so dumb I bet you can’t even get to stage two on the new Harry Potter video game” or “I bet you don’t even know how to play Dungeons and Dragons”. I watched as replay of the 1983 Sugar Bowl last night. Georgia lost to Penn State.
Herschel Walker was interesting. He’s a big man. But he didn’t really seem to drive the pile or give a punishing hit. He seemed to play smaller than he was.

You are a little man with a little tool living in a little town (elijay). You obviously base everything on the past and I hate to tell you little man, Tech doesn’t play football like they did in the past 7 years. They have a very sophisticated and unconventional offense that Georgia doesn’t have the time to prepare for (no off week before us this year either). Not only that, they are not smart enough to figure it out with a month of off weeks. Lastly, and probably most importantly, Georgia doesn’t hate us as much as we hate them. Add it up little man (here, I’ll do it for you 1+ 1 + 1 =3) and it will be another country asswhoppin both ways but the game will be won by Tech again because like I said, we hate Georgia far more than they hate us. The ACC is just something to pass the time while we prepare for you a$$hole$! Bowl games are celebrations for putting you in your rightful place (behind us in sports as well as school). And nothing you can do or say can change that little man. At least not for at least 1-2 more meetings. We will play you as tough as Florida and Alabama does next year and you can take that to your little bank up there in your little town, little man.
