Now on Internet: It’s Mike Vick Injury Bingo! (ouch)
That's going to leave a mark. But how about a game, MV?
Let me preface this by declaring that I am NOT pulling against Michael Vick during his post-prison career, which has the potential to be one of the greatest comeback stories in professional sports history (although not at this rate).
OK, that disclaimer out of the way, this is kind of funny.
Vick’s tendency to take so many hits and keep getting injured, particularly in this NFL exhibition season, has reached mocking level. He hurt the thumb on his throwing hand in Philadelphia’s first preseason game. He had ribs crushed Monday against New England. All X-rays, MRIs and CT scans have been negative, but the guy has spent more time in examination rooms than taking snaps in games. (Two-game stats: 4 for 7, 11 yards, 0 touchdowns, 1 sack, 2 injuries.)
So that prompted Robert Littal from the website, BlackSportsOnline, to post a game: “Mike Vick Injury Bingo.” The game’s winning squares include generic injuries like, “Concussion” and “Rib injury,” but it adds others like, “Eagle Fan Hits Him With Battery,” and, of course, “Dog Bite.”
Take a look.
(The judges probably will let you get away with “Broken Finger” for the sprained thumb, so we’re off to a good start on this bingo card.)

True – Let it go. The man did his time, made his peace with the Lord I’m the biggest dog lover in the world, but if this man takes full accountability for his actions (and lack of action when it comes to the Falcons), then why can’t you celebrate that he is on the path of salvation, both spiritually and professionally.
Choke – I guess they never wore braids……. – Understood and quite often you are right.
You aren’t looking for dialogue either. You take offense to comments (some are vile) and you want to lash back with more venom. You feed the fire too. “Ryan is more useless than cow manure.” Really? It is the Vick lovers and the Vick haters that makes this such a tired deal.
Mike took a fearless inventory of himself and is well on the road to healing. A lot of Vick fans won’t do the same thing. All Falcons fans loved Mike and defended him when the national media was killing him. It wasn’t until Mike took himself out of the Falcon equation that he felt real backlash from Falcon fans. Of course, racist used that opportunity to spew their stupidity. Vick isn’t the only Atlanta pro to feel the hate. Tom Glavine was hammered in this city pretty damn hard and he never wore dreads.
The local media won’t let it go. That is wrong. I don’t think you are being the people’s champ with your blogs. You just keep adding to the problem.

“CHOKE”-I think someone is workin’ up a little chub for Mike Vick. If you want to talk about a worthless quarterback. Mike Vick should be the one to talk about. At least Matt Ryan plays in all 16 games. Mike Vick injuries will cost the Eagle at least 3-4 games this year. As it does every year….Did you know that Mike Vick has never put together a full 16 games…Good Luck Winning with that gimick quarterback! lololol
