Bobby Petrino saga explained in Taiwan cartoon (video)
Petrino can run but he can't hide (even in Taiwan).
It’s not safe for Bobby Petrino to open his eyes yet.
I turns out Petrino is not only infinitely mockable here in the U.S. — and particularly Flowery Branch, where today has been declared a national holiday — but also in Taiwan. They’ve turned his story into a cartoon.
Next Media Animation has pieced together a hilarious animated summary of Petrino’s “inappropriate relationship” with Jessica Dorrell, his hiring of her in the athletic department (including a $20,000 payment) and his firing as Arkansas football coach.
It is possible to listen to the subtitles in English. But I think you will find it much more entertaining in Taiwanese.

Petrino got fired for putting his (admitted) girlfriend on the university payroll. It’s always been considered bad form to screw the help, but in this day and age hiring someone you’re bopping is going to get you fired, and your employer sued. He hired her over some 150 other applicants, with only the flimsiest credentials. (i guess the interview went really well.) Cheaper and easier to fire Petrino and hire another coach.

The video was awesome, but all i really needed to see was the pictures of the 2 of them. Not sure who’s face looks worse.
And did Petrino really say he just wished he could have met with his team before leaving? Really? That is the most hilarious thing yet.

All those recruits that are now locked into there commitments, while Petrino will make millions next year at Tennessee.
He needs to get divorced before he signs that next contract, why split that money too.
At least he has better taste in women than the ex-Arkansas governor.
