Bobby Petrino saga explained in Taiwan cartoon (video)

It’s not safe for Bobby Petrino to open his eyes yet.
I turns out Petrino is not only infinitely mockable here in the U.S. — and particularly Flowery Branch, where today has been declared a national holiday — but also in Taiwan. They’ve turned his story into a cartoon.
Next Media Animation has pieced together a hilarious animated summary of Petrino’s “inappropriate relationship” with Jessica Dorrell, his hiring of her in the athletic department (including a $20,000 payment) and his firing as Arkansas football coach.
It is possible to listen to the subtitles in English. But I think you will find it much more entertaining in Taiwanese.

Since nobody else want to say it, I guess I be the one. This is a travisty of justice. Petrino is a classy guy who made a mistake. A mistake that most of have made. Simply put, in the moment of that accident, he though about how this would hurt his family and he wanted to keep it quiet. He didn’t do anything wrong by trying to protect his family. Long made a hasty decision by firing Petrino. I think this is a huge injustice and Arkansas needed a fall guy and Petrino was it. The fan have this one right. Petrino is a great football coach, a husband, and a father. He acknowledged that he made a mistake and apologized for it. Its not like he killed somebody. He gave someone a ride on a bike and now he is jobless. He showed real class in his statement. I wish him the best of luck and a speedy recovery. I for one forgive him, but I don’t think he did anything wrong.

Mr. Say What?: Let me conjugate my comments and give an explicative of what I am saying. As far as the 20,000.00. I will just say that it could have been a loan. There is not a whole lot of details with that in regards. They is no law saying you can’t loan somebody some money. How do we know that they was in a affair? They could have been close friends. Just because he give a ride to somebody, don’t make him in a affair. She is engaged and I am sure she loves her fiance. I think that peoples get the wrong impression because she is pretty. He could be a father figure to her. As far as the lying to his boss. I don’t know what he say to his boss. Leaving out details doesnt mean he was lying. He probably wanted to keep this quiet until he had a chance to speak in private, but the media gets hold of it and now he has to make statements. I think he could have been shook up from the crash and possibly had a head injury. It be a proven fact that when you hit your head, you could sustain some type of amnesiasistic episode or short term memory loss. Now that he is recovering, some of the details are probably becoming more clearly identifiable to him. That is why I say that Long hasted in his judgement of Mr. Bobby. And lastily, the preferential treatment by trooper are afforded to all collegiate head coaches, so I can’t see where the valitadily of the statement in question is.

I live in Hogland. It was a dark day for me when Petrino quit on my Falcons and showed up in my backyard. He was even scheduled to come to my town as part of a Razorback Rally in two weeks…
He is getting what he deserves, and I might be the only person in this state who understands that.
Also, I might be the only one in this state that can read. At least our friends in Taiwan put it in them movin’ pictures so my neighbors can understand!

Falcon James, I am sure you are pulling our legs. Petrino is a first class jerk and you have to know that. He deserved to be fired, and I have no sympathy for the Univ. of Ark. After his behavior when he was at Louisville regarding Auburn, and the way he treated the Falcons, those people out there knew they were getting an immoral, unethical slimeball, and they hired him anyway. They got what they deserved…just like UGA got what they deserved a few years ago when they hired Jim Harrick. A leopard does not change his spots.

Here’s a great word for “Falcon James”. He is so well-versed on the English language I’m sure he can use it in the future. It seems very appropriate here for some reason. One of my favorite words of all time. I can’t say it but I can spell it. It’s FLOCCINAUCINIHILIPILIFICATION It’s the longest word in the dictionary with 9 i’s following a consonant. It means, “the estimation of something as useless or worthless”.
