I'm Speechless!
Absolutely the worst Georgia game that I have ever witnessed in 29 years of watching our Georgia Dawgs. What were the coaches thinking on trying to change the kicking game like they did. How about 3rd down and 9 late in the game and we run the ball (try to run the ball) up the middle again. We need a new offensive coordinator as well as the obvious new defensive coordinator; which should be by now a forgone conclusion. There better be some drastic changes made by coach Richt or else next year the athletic director will make those changes and I'm sure coach Richt won't like the results; take responsibility coach Richt. "Stop praying and start playing" as I heard one older gentleman in the stands say tonight. I must agree with him; after all fans enjoy watching good football and watching our team win. To bad this year we have not seen much of either.

We were all wearing Black for the funeral of UGA VII.Once again while wearing Black; we went to a funeral our our DAWGS!

enough with the "nappy hair" comments. Enough with the "hip hop mentality" bs. Georgia is not the only team that has players with long hair. You have shown yourself to be a moron and a racist. Go root for Stanford if you want an all white team... You make me sick

Hopefully in 2009, Bobo will not STUBBORNLY CLING to a LOSING OFFENSIVE STRATEGY and maybe Bobo's offense will do something in the third Qrt besides punt or fumble on each possesion, CALLING 60% PASS PLAYS, on thier 4 possessions.

Miami beat Tech by running the ball 60% of their plays, getting 4.7 ypc, they won time of possession, and committed no turnovers. They got out to a big lead 41-3, then 24-23. Miami also had a good pass/run balanced attack--even though they passed 40% of the time, the yards outgained the running game. And Miami has NO INTEPRECEPTIONS. Tech's 1 dimensional offense is not built to come back a 21 pt deficit. They just can't pass well.

Knowing this, will Bobo STILL clings STUBBORNLY to his PASS 65% TO BEAT TECH 2008 offensive strategy to try and PROVE his theory that you WIN with the PASSING GAME?

Why do think Tech ranks #115 in the NCAA in fumbles per game? I mean, some teams run the ball as much, but have less fumbles, what's that all about, and why do your QB's complete less passes than anyone in the NCAA, ranked #120?

When Richt's Defense allows LESS than 20 points, Richt is 62-7.

Hard to hold the other guys to under 20 points when Ga's offense turns the ball over 3 or 4 times a game, like Fla, Tenn, Ok St. LOSSES. In the LSU game, we called 65% passes and couldn't control the clock with the trun at the end to eat up the clock. Too pass-happy.

Martinez MUST get more TAKEAWAYS. Get pressure on the QB, get some hats on the ball when they run to force fumbles, tip some passes at the line when they throw. Give up less TD's, try to hold them to a field goal more often.

When our OC gets a 100 yard rusher, Richt is 38 wins and only 3 losses. When our OC commit 0 turnovers, Richt is 15-0. When we lose, it's because we either:
1- Don't get a 100 yard rusher
2- We turn the ball over on offense

On top of our High Offensive giveaways, and Low offensive run play mix, our defense creates almost NO TAKEAWAYS (#120 in the NCAA), and gives up WAY too many TD's instead of FG's.

Yellow Fuz-

Tech has had an amazing year. YOUR OC gets it--RUN THE BALL. Much better EFFORT in the running game than our UGA guy Bobo. Tech can run the ball great. Very few weaknesses on their team.

Miami won by running the ball better than Tech, they ran for over 180 yards, and threw for over 200--good balance, they controlled the clock, the key was Miami's rushing attack that kept Tech's productive offense off the field.

Tech has the #120 pass completion percentage in the NCAA, so if they get behind, and can't run the ball, they're in trouble, which is the run/pass imbalance of Ga Tech that Miami exploited. They're a 1 trick pony (running the ball), they don't pass enough (14% play mix average) in , they don't complete enough passes, or have enough run/pass balance to become #1.

When we lose, it's because we don't run the ball enough or our OC turns the ball over too much. Our OC calls less running plays than anyone in the NCAA.
