Predicitions for Saturday only (not a big NFL fan, but Oakland beats KC 23-10).

GT 40 - Duke 10 -- Jackets start slow, but steamroll Blue Devils
GA 31 - Auburn 24 -- Rough & tough game, GA wins b/c Auburn's not "man enough"
FL 24 - SC 14 -- Cocks have a chance, but a costly T.O. will ruin their chances
Bama 31 - Miss St 3 -- too much DEEEEEE
FSU 41 - Wake 28 -- Ponder = Wally Pip. And if you don't know who W. Pip is, just ask Lou Gherig
Ole Miss 42 - Tenn 17 -- Ole Miss will have more than a chesseburger!

"So yu know, I am considering leaving all political comments out of future blogs and replacing them with cupcake recipes. Or maybe random gardening tips. Your thoughts?"

No, by all means keep the political comments coming.

Sarah Palin is a nitwit. And I love how you pious, arrogant Repukes deign to lecture us on politics in this country. Repuke politics nothing but (!) more tax cuts for the wealthy and (2) more obstruction
of the Dems legislation. Other than that you got nothing pal- nothing!!!

Schultz defenders: the problem with Schultz is not his humor, it's his lack of same. What is obviously intended to be funny is often just plain mean. A political hatchet job isn't humor just because it's dressed-up as cute.

Any true political commentator who only attacks one party while ignoring the current presidential administration - which has given us three cabinet nominees with tax problems, a soaring deficit, double digit inflation, and more "uhhhs" and "duhhs" from our intreprid leader than a pundit could hope for - is nothing more than a partisan hack, plain and simple.

What does any of this have to do with sports? Is Schultz angling to take Keith Olbermann's job once the inevitable happens and he wears out his welcome at MSNBC (for those who don't know what I'm talking about, check out KO's past employment history. The man invented bridge-burning).

Personally, I love political-sports blogs. I hope Jeff keeps bringing it.

How does a panty-waist Democrat even get interested in sports enough to make a career writing on the subject? Especially football - manly men who are not known to be politically correct engaging in activities that rewards hard work, aggressiveness, and results - pretty much the opposite of everything that Democrats stand for.

Sarah Palin is hot, conservative, pro-life, charismatic, and opinionated. No wonder you libs hate her. Didn't she get the memo? Women and minorities are not to stray off the Democratic plantation lest they be destroyed.

U are right pi$$onaDawg. PURE Democracy we would vote on all bills. Representative Democracy is where the people elect Members of Congrees to do that for the people.

The major is not always right because the majority is not Educated. Agree with your 4:35 blog.
