DeAngelo Hall feels ‘disheartened’ by lack of support (darn)

It's so unusual for DeAngelo Hall to call attention to himself.

It's so unusual for DeAngelo Hall to call attention to himself.

DeAngelo Hall apparently isn’t feeling the love in the Washington Redskins’ locker room. There’s a shock.

Amid the news that Washington’s LaRon Landry and Albert Haynesworth said they have been fined for their roles in last Sunday’s mini-rumble between the Falcons and Redskins, Hall — who sparked the incident when he followed Landry to the Falcons’ sideline — said on a radio show that he was “disheartened” that more teammates didn’t come to his rescue.

“I can’t speak for those other guys that’s out there on the field, but whoever’s out there with me, I’m ready to go to battle for ‘em,” the Washington Post quoted Hall as saying on “The Lavar Arrington Show” (radio station 106.7 The Fan). “That’s just how I am, whether it’s a verbal sparring or a physical sparring, I’m always ready to mix it up. And to see those guys kind of linger over there, yeah, I don’t know what was going through their minds.”

Oh, I don’t know. Maybe something like: “Do I really want to help him? Naaaaw.”

Landry and Haynesworth both told the Washington Post that they have been fined. Hall was not quoted about a fine, nor have the Falcons said anything about coach Mike Smith or strength and conditioning coach Jeff Fish , both of whom tussled with Hall. The NFL typically announces fines on Fridays.

Hall generally has been blistered by the nation’s media for his actions Sunday.

Haynesworth was one Redskin who came to Hall’s aid after he was circled by Falcons’ players and coaches. According to the Post, Haynesworth cracked a smile before saying: “I mean,  Mike Smith did have him pinned up over there. I can’t let the old man beat up my cornerback, so I had to go over there and save him.”

DeAngelo was asking for trouble…..you don’t instigate an altercation on the opposing teams sideline when you are out-manned 20-1 and everybody hates you..(on both teams..LOL) he’s a knucklehead…nuff said…..he’s the guy you go with him to the bar if he’s buying…when you see he’s about to get in a fight you go to the bathroom…

That must be some radio show. Maybe a Clusters can get a show if DeAngelo has one. We know who would want to sponsor it and we would be happy to have ‘em do it.

Hall is a joke. He deserves all of the scorn of the public and the media. This is a guy who actually thinks he can play. Maybe he should learn how to tackle first. You need to watch this egotist talk last week to the DC media about one of his goals is to make the Hall of Fame. Someone should tell him that the Falcons and Raiders have dumped him on DC and that his goal next year might be to make the team. Falcon management was very wise to dump this clown!

Maybe the Redskins will cut him and another team will let him rape them for some million$. The Raiders cut him after he fought the Falcons last year at the half in the tunnel. The Raiders scored 0 points in that game by the way!!! Now this crap in Atlanta on side line. Since the Falcons got rid of him he has been part of 6 wins and 17 loses with both Raiders and Redskins. Enough Said!!!!!

After watching the footage of the rumble, I can say that D0Hall did nothing wrong in this case. He was pulled into the Falcons sideline by our own team. The fact that it was him is what made the whole thing blow up. People dont be so quick to judge others. He really didnt do anything but try to get loose. Think about it, why were the refs trying to pull him back out of the pile, maybe they saw and heard first hand. Another reason He didnt do anything….he didnt get a flag thrown at him and continued to play. If he was guilty to refs would love nuthing more but to penalize him or eject him and you know that. D-Hall was right.

You know the saddest thing about stories like this? They expose the reality that no matter how gifted a person is, no matter how much they are blessed with wealth, fame, and career paths most of us would love to have, when it comes down to it there’s something (I’d actually say Someone) missing inside. The recent story of how former Falcons quarterback Randy Johnson passed away poverty-stricken and utterly alone was heartbreaking to read, and I feel that a lot of today’s divas with chronic character flaws are going to suffer similar fates down the road. I don’t wish that on anyone, but if you want to die well, don’t live selfishly.

Good point Extremus….but think about this, when u have people constantly picking at you and saying things about you, it makes a person become selfish and more concerned about their well being. It is these people job to play sports and not our job to critique them wen they do bad. I mean our tax dollars dont pay them. Dying alone is something no one should do but what other choice do you have wen the world has turned its back on you. Think about what you would do in these situations. You right there is something missing inside, the love from us for what they do. Thry want it they need it, not critics…they are human too you know.

Extremus, I have no doubt that MeAngelo will reap every last piece of bad karma he has sown, both what we the public know, what we can guess at (dog fighting), and what we can’t even begin to guess.

Douche bags always get their’s in the end. It will happen to Dane Cook. It will happen to Seth MacFarlane. It happened to Axel Rose.

It’ll happen to MeAngelo.

what is sad, the fact that most people sit on their hands waiting for someone like D-Hall to mess up leaving no room for praise when he does good things. You have heard no negative comments in Oak or Was about Hall. Atl amplified it because they wanred it. Its our fault.

We was never close with any players from Virignia Tech but we was impressed by some of they Escalades and watches. We was almost ready to sign with Clemson when things went the other way for one of us and we didn’t even make another visit to those ACC schools and the SEC school that was after us said football was king and we wouldn’t be playing any baseball there. Going with the second shift allowed us to play on the softball team and make a good living. Things work out.

Carroll and Ron was a riot for a time but Jeff and Sonny was a team and we was going to the Hall of Fame. We was never as passionate about football as we was about baseball because, as you know, a Clusters helped invent baseball and a Clusters could clean it up as baseball commissioner. If the radio thing don’t work out we may apply for that commissioner’s job depending on the benefits.
