Yeah- Turner is awful. He looked really terrbile last night against the Saints. He is the EXACT same back he was last year, which is pretty darn good. The Falcons used a little more deception in the run game, and Turner had some holes to get through.

Jason Snelling- careful what you wish for, can't even stay on the field with a modest work load.

Turner was a beast last night, give him his due.

Who cares about Keith Brooking? He was never considered a premier LB in the NFL. Although he consistently led the Falcons in tackles each year, he was widely known for making tackles on his back; and he contributed little to Dallas' victory - like he did in Atl for 11 years. What a scum bag.

"Should have waited on Vick and built the defense."

That's the dumbest, well, one of the dumbest things I've read so far this week. If you think Vick is worthy of starting anywhere that isn't in Cleveland (and maybe Oakland) you must be a relative or a former cellmate.

Looks like the good ole boy Matt Ryan chokes against defenses that put pressure on him. To be honest he has not played well the last 3 weeks and looks like the int's are about to start piling up. If you ask me he has Jeff Francouer written all over him. Hype up after one year and has done nothing since. Should have waited on Vick and built the defense.

Hiramsaint, you're right it could happen. But it DID happen. :) We'll see soon enough. The Falcons are my team but dadgummit this is going to be a tough one for us to leave town with a W.

I can't stop laughing at these comments on Keith Brooking. I thought his excitement was awesome. Yeah, Atlanta fans might see a bit of bitterness but why not. When you're told that you are being let go because it is a Young man's game and then your replaced by someone the same age and experience and making more money, yeah I would be a little bitter and would love to slam my previous team. In your face a little? What aggressive player wouldn't be. It doesn't mean anything about Keith's class. Anyone that truly knows him, realizes he is a different person on the field. That is what makes him a great player. By the way how many of you have been to 5 Pro Bowls, 1 Super Bowl and in the league for 12 years? Zero. That is what I thought. Falcons fans get over the fact that Keith is supporting his new team and not your's and concentrate on why your team let you down once again. Why woould he be loyal to a previous team anyway? Especially one that is not loyal to him.

JEFF SCHULTZ WITH THE ON-POINT BLOG!

Is Turner playing like a running back who should be starting in this league? Right now, he's not NFL material. Wouldn't the Falcons look good with Knowshon?

Thank you Jeff, for defying the conventional logic that commentators ram down our throats. I saw an article recently that said something about Turner being the 2nd best running back in the league behind Adrian. I was flabbergasted. Way too much group think out there.

Keep it up!
