Rush Limbaugh Quotes
The Dumbest Things Rush Limbaugh Has Ever Said

"The phony soldiers." --on U.S. service members who support withdrawal from Iraq (Source)

"He discusses his service in Iraq, the wounds he suffered there, and he says to me in this ad, 'Until you have the guts to call me a 'phony soldier' to my face, stop telling lies about my service.' You know, this is such a blatant use of a valiant combat veteran, lying to him about what I said, then strapping those lies to his belt, sending him out via the media in a TV ad to walk into as many people as he can walk into." --denouncing an ad by VoteVets.org featuring Iraq war veteran Brian McGough by likening him to a suicide bomber

"He is exaggerating the effects of the disease. He's moving all around and shaking and it's purely an act. ... This is really shameless of Michael J. Fox. Either he didn't take his medication or he's acting." --on an ad by Michael J. Fox endorsing Claire McCaskill for Senate for supporting embryonic stem cell research.

"And don't forget, Sherrod Brown is black. There's a racial component here, too. And now, the newspaper that I'm reading all this from is The New York Times, and they, of course, don't mention that." --on the 2006 Ohio Senate primary race involving then-Rep. Sherrod Brown (D-OH), who is white.

"This is no different than what happens at the Skull and Bones initiation...I'm talking about people having a good time, these people, you ever heard of emotional release? You ever heard of the need to blow some steam off?" --on the Abu Ghraib prisoner abuse scandal.

"Too many whites are getting away with drug use...Too many whites are getting away with drug sales...The answer is to go out and find the ones who are getting away with it, convict them, and send them up the river, too." --in 1995

"I am addicted to prescription pain medication." --in 2003

"Feminism was established so as to allow unattractive women easier access to the mainstream of society."

should i keep going? i can write a book on the stupid crap that spews from his lips.

He made some obvious observations at the time. As you know, the league made changes to clean up its act and make it more fan friendly. Should we do background checks on all the owners for things like adultery and such. Do we go back and recap every single statement they made to determine if they qualify?

Just do sports. It gets old when some newspaper guy has a sports forum then graces us with his political savy. You are a liberal. We get it. Just stick to sports. We come here to get away from the basic numbing liberal garbage that shows up on the front page of the paper and the newsrooms. I don't read your paper, other than for sports and don't watch local news. Keep stating your personal opinions on politics and I won't read the sports. Or I might still go online, but I won't pay for it.

It gets old when guys like yourself take advantage of your audience. You are not making the world better, you hare just expressing your political opinion. I could care less if Rush or Jane Fonda owned a team. I don't like her but why would I have a problem with her owning a pro team?????

Anybody out there beleive in the 1st amendment (freedom of speech for you in Atlanta). Rush just puts things into an entertaining perspective that is uncomfortable to all you politically correct morons. I will say again. Listen to the program and get educated. You may actually learn something if you'll open your mind.

Allen: You have Sharpton mixed up with Congressman Charles Rangel. You might want to make sure you memorize the names correctly before you mimic Rush.

Full disclosure. Born in Piedmont Hospital. Raised in conservative Gwinnett County. Caucasian. I love the NBA. I love the Hawks. I like the music at the games. I like the cheerleaders. I will bring my kids (when i have some) to Hawks games. I am not afraid to park or be downtown. I am not scared of black people. If you are scared of the NBA then go kill yourself.
