If you people had a base salary of 1 million dollars and everything else would be pay by performance,I bet these guys would be playing a lot harder, practicing harder, and a walk would not be a moral victory.

Sure chipper is struggling but every major league ballplayer struggles at one time or another. No one is imune from a slump. For much of the first half of this season, BIG POPPY was struggling and no one threw him out of the starting lineup in Boston. Chipper is a great player (a living legend) and will soon be playing outstanding baseball once again. Chipper is a tremendous talent (a future hall of famer) and will be instumental in helping the Braves win their diviion in October.

The Braves are in dire need of a complete makeover: Keep Wren but the rest of the front office fat can take a hike. New manager? Check, and let him determine who he wants on his coaching staff. The new guys have to change the culture of mediocrity and replace aging guys who can't get it done for whatever reason.

We see this in other sports, other franchises but have yet to see it lately with the Braves. It's time.

All the blame shouldn't only fall on Chipper, don't forget the management, Bobby Cox has made more than a few bad decisions.
Waiting for 1 player to start hitting and put him in a spot in the line-up that needs someone better, is not good managing, if the team doesn't have a replacement, is pure bull, a good manager would find put a better team on the field.

Give Chipper some time off...the rest of the year. Since the season is over anyway, let some guys on the field who actually WANT to play. Let Chipper leave to blow the heads off of some animals, & maybe trade his delicate ass to the AL so he won't have to mess with that nasty ol' "fielding" anymore

The poor Braves, they're like a nightmare, without being able to wake up.
Winning to them is not a very common thing, or even the desire to advance, it's like playing Simon said.
Bobby, doesn't know his pitchers as well as he think, all the analyzing, and all the calculation, only equal to 0, if a person had very large ear, he could look like a jackass.
The best way to describe the Brave's team is like being on a bus dong 90 m.p.h. heading toward a cliff and no driver at the helm.
The team starting with Mr. Jones, can be use for a Hospital advertisement for tired blood. What is it going to take Cox, to sit Chipper down, he is NOT healthy, and not helping the team, at all. Bobby Cox. can very easily, replace him, he did put in a pitcher to pinch hit for another pitcher, ( makes no sense but no sense seems to plague the Braves club house) then, why not put a pitcher as a substitute at third and you won't be able to tell the different, and Bobby (you can take all the credit for this good idea.)
Anderson can hit, but he gives up, what he accomplish, with bat, when he's unable to get to half of the fly balls hit his way.
The management has a overused line which they been saying since 2004, and that is wait until next year.
Another year has come and almost gone and the same o, same o. The reruns are really getting tiresome.
