Sure, The Michael Vick Case meant = exposure for the local writers and sports writers, and more revenue for the paper, radio, and TV stations.

I think that The former Falcons beat-writer received a better job offer The NFL Network after Vick entered federal prison.

I saw several local sports reporters on ESPN, Fox, etc..

Do some people hate Vick, and waited for a time to “pounce”?
Of course, they did.

Still, he gave them the opportunity…nearly twice.

Still.. Man over Dog. Dogs are being spayed and neutered every day so they cannot reproduce. Wow, that is “loving” and “Fair treatment”. Abandoned dogs are killed (euthanized) in gas chambers regularly.. (Puppies too while 17 year old dogs continue to live in the homes of many)

In my Apartment building, my neighbors’ dogs have to wait all day just to eliminate when their owners return from work. That’s got to kill their dogs kidneys and bladders every day.

Pets = captive animals. It’s called receiving supposed “unconditional love” from a captive animal.

I’m sure there are Pitbill puppy mills in North and South of here..

In fact, one of “The Good Ole’ Boys” gave my father a free Pitbull/Shepherd mix mutt (who was sick from the Parvo Virus)

NOW YOU DON’T HEAR A WORD FROM THEM. THEY CAUGHT A MAN IN GWINNETT COUNTY WITH DEAD DOGS THAT HE HAD BEEN FIGHTING IN HIS BACK YARD. DID YOU HEAR ANY MORE ABOUT HIM? A LADY HAD ABUSED HER DOGS AND CATS, GOT CAUGHT, DID YOU HEAR ANY MORE FROM HER? NO BECAUSE THEY WERE WHITE PEOPLE AND THE BLACKS ARE TREATED DIFFERENTLY FROM WHITES WHEN THEY COMMITT A CRIME. Who can really say what Mike Vick can or cannot do without him getting on the field to find out. If he is the best QB in a particular team, who would you want to have. What if he’s faster than before. Everyone who say he do not have it anymore is just voicing their opinion. Until he get the opportunity, NO ONE knows….

Excellent article. He was released (predictably)by the Falcons today. I have not read all the comments, but surely the NFL can find someone with a few morals and character who can throw a football!!!

I have never seen so much hatred about an individual. Vick should play again. What I have noticed is a serious hatred of a person that is trying to move on. He will rise again. What we cannot do is to stop a man from making an honest living. He has that right. A nasty soap opera , constantly defaming his character.
