San Antonio is dominating in the paint!!! Led by 6'1" Tony Parker the Spur runs right down the Hawks throat. Parker Kills them in the paint for 42, most of which were lay ups of the dribble.
I’ve got an Ideal, let’s ignore the fact that our center Pachulia is on the bench watching.
Rather than try and get someone to stop other teams from driving down our throats, lets attack Woodson. Yeah that’s the ticket. It s Woodson’s fault, fire the coach. Right, Schultz. What type of professional analysis is that Jeff?
Every good team knows that the way to beat the Hawks is attack the middle, not the coach.

Hey, Schultz, Scott the spelling police has been on me about your name. I sorry if I offended you it wasnt my intention, just an oversight. Next time you are offended please dont sic your hate captain on me. Just point out the error. I ll correct it. My bad. I hope you guys dont lynch me like you did Michael Vick.
Oh speaking of Micheal Vick, heres something I found that might make you feel good... Like Woodson makes you feel....
I thought I’d give you some basic material so you can put a positive and uplifting perhaps unifying spin to it, here goes:

By D. ORLANDO LEDBETTER
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Monday, March 23, 2009

New counsel says book by Falcons QB possibly ‘in the making’

Embattled quarterback Michael Vick, with his potential release to a halfway house looming, has switched criminal defense attorneys.

Daniel Meachum, an original member of Vick’s defense team, has signed an exclusive three-year contract to represent Vick.

“Yes, I’m representing Mike again,” said Meachum on Monday, adding that he “withdrew” from the case and was not fired from the original defense team.

Billy Martin of Washington, D.C., and Lawrence Woodward of Virginia Beach had been making court appearances for Vick in criminal matters. Martin and Woodward did not immediately return phone calls.

Meachum, of Atlanta, has represented high-profile athletes before. Joel Segal, Vick’s agent, will continue to represent him in football matters.

“My concern is helping Michael get back to his family and surround him with people like Julius Erving, Tony Dungy and Bishop T. D. Jakes. We need people around him who can help him and his family get back on the right track. I’m more interested in that than anything else.”

Vick may be released from federal prison to a halfway house in late May. His scheduled released date from federal custody on dog fighting charges is July 21.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has refused to comment on Vick’s potential re-instatement.

“He has served his time,” Meachum said. “He’s remorseful for his mistakes. I hope they give him another opportunity, but football will take care of itself.”

Vick allegedly has written a book while in prison and is seeking co-authors and a publisher.

“That may or may not be in the making,” Meachum said. “That would too premature right now. But I’m committed to helping Mike get back on his feet.”

It’s nice to see that there are caring people whose nature is to help someone who's on the wrong track. It’s so easy and base to choose to hate, condemn, and divide.

Shout out to the Bubba posse.

El capitone’ le bubbah squad-ah - A pig with lipstick is still a pig.

Jeff Shultz, is Scott an honorary member of your BUBBA SQUAD or a hate captain?

P.S. Woodson has his Hawks…rolling now hate up on that!

The Hawks are up 58-36 at the half...W/OUT MARVIN AGAIN AND YOU DON'T THINK WOODY IS COACHING 'EM UP????...H-E-L-L-O???...this is the Atlanta Hawks NOT the LA Lakers, for Pete's sake!!!...This win would give the Hawks 42 wins and make them 28-7 at home this season. The ONLY two teams who have had a better home record in the Eastern Division is Cleveland and Boston...that's the list!!!...By the way, when was the last time the Hawks were relevant...seriously, when???

Here is my major rub about you Jeff...In the BIG PICTURE, turmoil in the front office, no draft pics 2008, no money to sign a player or two at the trade deadline, the injuries not just to Marvin but to Josh earlier this year, the no signing of an adequate BIG this summer to help Al and Zsa, Zsa (we all saw how we got beat on the boards in the Celtics series last year by those Celtic young-ens, Powe and Perkins), because we changed GM's the philosophy's have to be different, the expectations were higher given the performance against the Celtics this season, Acie's development has not happened as fast as everyone would have liked, and the fact coach wanted a longer contract than the one he received last summer...the Hawks, with that as the back drop keep working, keep playing hard, keep winning, staying positive and make no excuses...it's re marketable!!!...Look these guys still listen, don't quit, keep getting better and better (there have been 12 coaches fired this season and Vinny is next...smile).

Like Saturdays game against Cleveland, the 31-1 at home Cleveland, an after Woody was tossed and they had been down over 22 points or so they never quit and loss by ONLY 6!...they could have mailed it in but did not...now that's character and these have allot of it!!!...Now that is coaching (period!!).

Coach Woodson has managed these professional basketball players (and their egos) with respect and firmness and they trust in Woody. He has managed his way NO MATTER WHAT THE ISSUE is with a stunning and blue collar brilliance based on his core value of how things should be done and how the game should be played...

And so Jeff, you come at Wood with this narrow view of wins or losses in the playoffs. Look if dude wins 48/49/50 games and wins the 1st round of the Playoffs you should write an open apology (if you still have a job) to him for the city of Atlanta...but you won't or will you?...Just wondering because if he doesn't do those thins you will definitely ask for his head on a platter.

Coach plans the work and then works the plan...and finally in the city of Atlanta, the Hawks are relevant and have incredible possibilities with one of those possibilities being an NBA Championship!!!!...

Coach Knight and Larry Brown have to be so proud to see there student reflect and believe and trust what he has been taught about how the game should be played and how to play the game the right way.

Oh, and one last small fact, Cleveland was 18-23 on the road last year and there are ONLY 8 teams currently in the league with a winning road record. Again Wood's formula is let's win at home first and then as we continue to mature and we will learn how to win on the road. it is a process and I'm glad coach Woodson is directing that process!!!....By the way Hawks win 109-97, now 42-29 (smile)...Go Hawks and Go Woody!!!...Jeff has the talent gotten better really or is it the coaches (including the assistants, who have coached 'em up and they have worked out hard during the summer season)?...

I am not as edgy tnight, what's up with that?...smile...Truth-Serum, JSS, Whammer, and RA keep after him, please!...

I don’t think he’s worth that...unless you are trying to belittle the resentment that’s accumulated against him. Oh that’s a wise idea... a diversionary tactic. You are so smart. You are just like Schlitz.

Scott this excerpt is from the Shultz writing above.

But Al does so many things (as evidenced by team’s record without him) that I brings as much to the table.

I know what a wonderful proof reader you are, but when did Shultz play for the Hawks? Is he competing against Al?
I understood his point. Hopefully you understood mine.
