I’ve already got my ticket and will be heading up with my Bible study partner, Roosevelt. We always have a great time at CPAC. This year, I’m hoping to get up to introduce some future up-and-coming folks at some of the workshops. I got a few moment with Miss Sarah, Speaker Gingrich, Governor Barbour, Miss Schlafly and the lovely Miss Ingraham.

ObamaMedia members like Librul Jay and his friends Chris Matthews, Robert Gibbs, Dan Rather, David Axelrod, Rachel Maddow and others get so annoyed by the fact that WE THE PEOPLE are organized and ready to fight for conservative values.

Christie is not invited to a conservative convention because he made a fool of himself afeter Sandy and he is not conservative enough for the attendees. I suspect Harry REid was not invited nor was Jay .The horror. What IS important is that their voice and the gay and the hispanic voices are heard when ALL the repubs get togethr in the big Tent. For now , he is not trusted, perhaps that is smart. Perhaps he is not liked and they’re having a party, just perhaps, Pristine, ….now where’s my 2 liter Coke….

Total BS. The only national election was the Presidential election and Obama won by 3 million votes of 130 million cast. This with Romney receiving 9 million less votes then McCain received.

When the Republicans decide to run a real Conservative candidate like a Rubio or a Rand Paul then they will have a great chance of winning the Presidential election again. Especially if they run a young Hispanic male against an old mean white woman or a batsh1t crazy VP.

Why not tell the entire story? GOP vote totals were on the losing end in most all categories. House Dems totaled 2mil more votes than House Repubs. I think the same held for Senate totals, but I’d have to go back and double check.

If Romney garnered less votes than McCain, the lightbulb should have gone off in that people don’t want THIS particular GOP in charge of anything. Keep going the path that you are, and you’re basically giving the WH to the Democratic Party for an extended period of time.

Actually, Obama’s final popular-vote margin was 4.96 million, which is considerably more than 3 million. In both his victories, he got a higher percentage of the vote than Bill Clinton or George W. Bush ever did.

The Republicans are now split between Chris Christe and those who believe he is the future and the Paul Ryan group who represent the fundamentalist far right.

Democrats can only chortle with glee at this since, if it continues, a Democratic victory in 2014 and 2016 will, seemingly, be all but assured.

Causing a ripple in two states does not make someone a strong third candidate? Ross Perot in 1992 was a strong 3rd party candidate in that he garnered almost 20% of the popular vote.

Using your metrics, I can run in one state and cause the votes to go a different way and still be considered a strong third candidate while only being on the ballot in one state. Do you really want ME to continue to show how dumb your supporting statements for your original post sounds?

Nader was not a strong 3rd party candidate. He was simply able to get enough votes in a couple of states that decided the election.

Bush didn’t have the money, or the right, to invade Iraq and yet he did it anyway.

You forgot to mention that Regan made the military the strongest in the world and cut taxes more then any President in history.

Guess why Regan had to give into some of those progressive measures? Because he had to work with a Democratic controlled congress and COMPROMISED on their agenda (most everything you listed) to get his agenda passed.

Obama on the other hand will not actually give on anything. Just proving he is NOT a leader.

2nd- I think the dems and libs are out of control with their spending. I think it should be reeled in a good bit. Cut programs where freebees are handed out to those who DONT WANT TO work.
3RD. All those recieving free aide should be required to do some type of community service for 30 hours a week. Work in a soup kitchen or help the states parks and rec division by mowing grass or planting flowers.
4th. If you all think this gov’t can support its spending habits over the next 25 years you are crazy. Think Chevy and Dodge- the gov’t pension program is very similar to the auto workers and what happened to them? Who will bail this government out?
5th. An individual can get a job and he will not take it because he makes more on unemployement. He should take the job and the gov’t should match the difference bewteen uneployement and his new pay check. For 1 year until he can get his feet on the groud.
6th Not all white gun owners and members of the NRA are racist.
7th I believe everyone needs a chance to suceed but taxing and taxing and taxing are not the answer. We need to cut the size and the budget of this government.
8th. Obama is more of a celeb than a president.
9th. How can are elected officals vote and recieve raises when the rest of this nation is buckling with the risng cost of all goods?
Next president needs to be a women with the ability to budget the nations debt.

td – Reagan followed the Keyes formula is increased government spending and cutting taxes. It stimulated the econom, but just as Keyes predited, ran up huge deficits and increased the national debt. We are still trying to reover.
And Keyes never came up with n answer to how to deal with the debt except to keep kicking the can down the road. Which is what we have been doing.

Exactly! Uninformed Americans should have never voted for Obama. When Obama took over the country was enjoying unprecedented prosperity. The stock market was soaring, GDP was way up, job creation way up, property values at all time highs.

When President George W Bush spoke at the Republican convention last summer it reminded people how lucky we were to have him. W was brilliant. I’m just glad we still have a few politicians like Bush that still have the American people’s best interests at heart.

Read his book before going off. His “price of politics” follows these specific debt negotiations and was pretty close to the action. So far, I’ve only seen one clarification…so what if he is critical of BO?

The negotiations are well catalogued….additionally the book opens with the giddiness of his promise of bringing parties together then dissing GOP’er who brought budget concepts…arguably, the distrust between the president and GOP started pre inauguration..

If you think so highly of your moral position about having being attacked first then I guess you believe that us going to Europe during WW1 and WW2 was morally wrong since they never attacked us in either war.

We could talk about Bush and Clinton UN resolutions broken by Iraq or the documents signed by Iraq after the first gulf war. We could talk about the US national interest in keeping the free flow of oil coming in to ensure our (oil based) economy does not collapse. We could talk about the genocide Saddam was preforming on the Kurds or the rape houses to protect the women. What is the point. you have your mind made up that the Iraq war was Bush’s fault and that he was evil to take us to war.

What Democrats have done which Republicans fail to do is nominate the person with the best chance to win. There isn’t a qualification check for Democrats or Hillary would have won over Obama in 2008. They saw Obama’s rising popularity and put Hillary in a raft with a jug of water and said, “Good luck.” Republican keep screwing around with their dumb checklist of credentials their nominee must have which is further seperating them from fiscally conservative voters (not Republicans). If Republicans want to regain power, they need to become fiscally conservative again and drop the social BS issues (gay marriage, religion, abortion). All of these issues are personal and no one wants a politician weighing in on what they think is best. Until they realize this, Democrats will continue to beat those drums scaring every uneducated voter. They harp endlessly on these subjects and always get at least one Republican to say something stupid which becomes the election rally cry for the Democrats. It is a game for the stupid which Democrats have mastered.
