All this arguing over guns I get not. Look at whats practical. There are 310 million guns out there…the ones I think we know about. So these new laws however they turn out, may keep a few hundred thou out of circulation a year..?? Perhaps it’s in the millions?
Perhaps its like the debt except we are doing what is practical and attempting in some way to flatten any growth.
Seems to me there are already plenty of guns for whatever uses are desired…probably keep us busy at least during my lifetime….

Last night I lived it!
I gave someone a ride home because they didn’t want to ride with a drunken driver. It only took me 15 minutes to help and was no big deal for a regular mensch, like yours truly.
But when I pulled into the garage and parked, there was a noticeable hissing sound coming from my right rear tire. Thanks god for spares, even if they are of the cheesy space saver variety!

I have no idea where the gun talk comes from as I was addressing Look’s comment about Congress abdicating their authority to Obama. If it were my job to do, I would tell the gun nuts to go fellate a lit stick of dynamite as they make sensible gun owners look like nutcases. You can’t have rational dialogue with irrational people. We see that here on a daily basis.
As for Bush and Obama, I’ve called them one and the same since Obama took his first oath. Obama has actually been a better Republican president than Bush ever was.

I’m not much of a movie goer. My love for the visceral experience of going out and seeing films was very brief but intense. A Clockwork Orange and 2001, … were two of the very first ones I ever saw. (The movie theater at Keesler AFB!)

Jamvet: I loved to HATE Dale Earnhardt lol. His fans were (and still are) the drunkest most obnoxious knuckle dragging rednecks at the race, the bar, the mall ect……. not that all his fans were that way, but the one that WERE that way were always Earnhardt fans. Anyway, he was one of those people who transcends his sport to where he is know by folks everywhere. Instead, his claim that the $3.6 trillion budget can’t be trimmed by $85 billion without the country collapsing reveals the utter futility of believing he will ever save America from financial disaster. The nation is headed for ruin unless it cuts spending, but the president refuses to do anything about it. In fact, he argues we don’t spend enough, that we must “invest” more. Just plain crazy!
