It was not they did not have security; what they had was inadequate and the nearest Rapid Response team was in Italy, more than 12 hours away for an attack that lasted a little more than 30 minutes.
The situation was so muddled, the Rapid Response team had to try to “hitch a ride” to Libya on private airlines.

It appears that you are trying to conflate the action with the events.
The budget cuts had nothing to do with the attacks; the cuts had to do with the amount of security provided by the Ambassador.
As you may not be aware, Benghazi was more than 600 miles from Tripoli and the Ambassador, who had more than 26 years experience in the country as was reportedly beloved by the locals, wanted to expand the influence of the USA in all parts of the country. Benghazi was not even a consulate, but a satellite station the Ambassador put together in hopes of expanding the influence of the government of the USA.

55% of women voted for President Obama, while only 44% voted for Mitt Romney. And they make up 53% of the voters in America.
That is six elections in a row and is a symptom of the GOP’s shoddy record on women’s and children’s rights/protections.
And unless the hard core right wing starts making some better choices (get it?) on some of these matters – and I don’t see that happening – it is going to be a LONG, LONG time before they are again trusted by a majority of the women in this land.

Number 3:
Republicans Got Punked By Science And Math
Bill clinton uses actual math and ratios to counter the republican magic based economic plan. Trickle Down, which hasn’t worked since some bright young republican coined the phrase, has trickled down to nothing.
The Ryan Budget: A Mistake of Historic Proportions). It is premised on the existence of a fantasy world within which entrepreneurs, despite the decline in sales that would follow budget cuts, suddenly increase hiring and investment because they have been able to throw off the shackles of government interference. I don’t know any other way to say it–this is idiotic. A reduction in spending by any sector in the macroeconomy will reduce revenue in the private sector and thus make our predicament even worse. Say, for example, that for some reason we no longer had any need for a military presence anywhere in the world and therefore fired every American soldier, marine, airman, and sailor. Precisely how, Mr. Ryan, is this supposed to be good news for the entrepreneurs who sold groceries, gasoline, housing, clothing, etc., to these individuals? You don’t need a PhD in economics to answer that one–it’s not.
Romney may not be as extreme as Ryan, but he is cut from the same cloth. As he states on his web page, “The only recipe for fiscal health and a thriving private economy is a government that spends within its means.” This is patently false. The only fiscally healthy or responsible policy is one that generates sufficient demand to hire all those willing to work. This does not include cuts to “non-security discretionary spending by 5 percent,” the shifting of federal government programs the private sector or state governments (entities that DO face a hard budget constraint), or, God forbid, a balanced budget amendment. Furthermore and as argued in an earlier post (The Real Job Creators: Consumers), the economy’s job creators are not, as Romney says, entrepreneurs and the wealthy, but the middle class. How can today’s unemployment be a function of overregulation and overtaxation when we are at or near historic lows in each? Rather, the problem, pure and simple, is demand. No amount of cost cutting will induce firms to expand employment in the absence of an increase in sales. Because this fact is lost on the Romney-Ryan ticket, their economic policies would be a disaster.

So another Obama-rat is resigning. Lisa Jackson in the EPA. Good riddance to bad rubbish. When she says “I look forward to spending more time with my family” I assume she means her dogs and cats. Her war on the coal industry and those emails of hers under an assumed name were about to make her political poison for her master Obama. She had to go.
Now, moving on to Kathleen Sebilius. She has her own problems and will be gone in 12 months. When the public becomes aware of just what Obamacare has done to the healthcare system in this country all of Obama’s crowd (including those in the Senate and House who helped him pass it) will runaway with their fat pensions and their fat healthcare plans. Just more Obama-rat’s scurrying for cover. Also Holder and Geithner both will soon be gone as well. They have absolutely made fools of themselves as well as their master.

How about the one that likened “cons” to Sandusky, even if some of those same “cons” may have been victims of childhood sexual abuse.
Then there are the calls for “cons” to be assaulted/injured/killed because their views on gun control differs with some on the left.

You may have daughters one day. If their boyfriend speaks to them like that when they argue and they stay with him, you’ll be the reason. Guys who suddenly start using derisive terms and talking about sex when they’re angry at a woman are creepy. If you’re okay being one of those guys, I can’t stop you.

I realize it is their attempt at plausible deniability.
Like in that Independence Day Movie? So all they need is an alien invasion, a couple of special effects technicians, and a spaceship then they can believe?

Sheldon and Co. spend over a hundred million dollars on someone that didn’t even want the job. Maybe they shoulda asked ole Mitt up front, “Do you want the job?” And wait for the answer. Don’t jump the gun. By the way, I hear the Newt really wants the job. Then there’s always SayRah. She dreams about painting the White House red.

Williebkind – “Why? You couldnt get it right the first time?”
Since you apparently haven’t got a degree of your own, you clearly don’t understand that if you don’t “get it right,” you don’t get a degree at all.

Kam, since he wasn’t talking about nazi’s, hitler, or 1930’s era Germany, but modern Germany, would it still fall under Godwin’s Law?
I think this sentence is the tell: “I’m sure that’s the same thing the Germans were saying… right before their grandparents were shipped off.”
In what other era was “right before their grandparents were shipped off.”?

#2 MONEY changes everything……………
Republicans Got Punked When The Man Who Doesn’t Back Down — BACKED DOWN
Rush Limbaugh has “sincerely apologize[d]” for using the words “slut” and “prostitute” to describe Georgetown Law student Sandra Fluke on two separate days and claimed that he “did not mean a personal attack” on her.
Rush Limbaugh is STILL hemorrhaging advertisers — several days after calling a Georgetown student a “slut” for asking the University for free birth control … bringing his grand total to NINE lost sponsors.
Two sponsors — Tax Resolution and AOL — pulled their ads from his radio show today, following the mass exodus of advertisers like ProFlowers, LegalZoom and Citrix Systems over the weekend.
As for the other advertisers that have jumped ship — bedding companies Sleep Train and Sleep Number, plus Quicken Loans and the Cleveland Cavaliers basketball team.
Rush made the “slut” comment on the airwaves last week — also calling student Sandra Fluke a “prostitute,” after the Georgetown Law student testified before the House of Representatives on why birth control should be made freely available.
Rush offered a weak apology on Saturday — claiming, “For over 20 years, I have illustrated the absurd with absurdity, three hours a day, five days a week. In this instance, I chose the wrong words in my analogy of the situation. I did not mean a personal attack on Ms. Fluke.”

TBG — “While it’s true that Kyle suspends his blog when he can’t monitor it, it must be said that some of the left leaning posters over there had a HUGE hand in making that necessary (at least necessary to Kyle).”
Kyle’s got a reputation for suspending or banning posters more readily than Jay does, yet many of Kyle’s posters are themselves banned from Jay’s. – True, but some the left leaning posters over there whose sole purpose is to “flame” are banned here as well.
That said, I wouldn’t be so certain of which side was responsible for the situation over there. – Both are responsible. I used to visit regularly until Kyle started the “bed time” policy.

And here we come citing “degrees.” A degree only means you sat through X number of lectures, wrote Y number of papers, etc, spent Z amount of money. sucked b*tt with a bunch of per-fessers long enough to get your own sheepskin attesting to your success at that. It doesn’t mean you know a whole heckuva lot even about your specialty…as soon as somebody starts citing their pieces of paper, my antennae go up…who are you trying to impress and for what purpose?
I’m sorta like Tallulah when she said to Dorothy Parker, “they tell me you’re a wit. Say something funny.” Okay, you’ve got “schooling.” Now, say something educated. Better still, say something smart.

Fred, there will be a month of mourning in Atlanta!
I’ve used chiropractic sparingly in my life, but had great results with it, from the very first time I resorted to it, in the late 1980s.
So the extent that he has been responsible for an effective alternative to conventional medicine, good on him.
I know they hate the phrase, but rack ‘em and crack em!
