Romney is not an atheist, he is a Mormon. Mormonism started in 1823 by Joseph Smith, who said an angel directed him to a buried book written on golden plates containing the religious history of an ancient people. That was very similar to Mohammod regarding angel and messages.

Chrysler Gives Workers the Day off to Vote
November 6th, 2012

Something Chrysler is not doing: shifting Jeep production and jobs to China. Something Chrysler is doing: giving workers the day off to vote. The auto manufacturer’s vice president of design tweets:
Chrysler gave its entire work force the day off to Vote Today! Let’s go! #America
— @RalphGilles via Twitter for iPhone A week ago, Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne sent employees an email saying that because of the “public debate” over the Jeep jobs (i.e. because of Romney’s lies), “I feel obliged to unambiguously restate our position” that Chrysler is not only not moving jobs to China but expanding its American workforce. And now all those Ohio and Michigan workers have the day off to vote.

I don’t know if it’s a “big” voting issue, but my peeps tell me there’s an angry old white man stomping around a South Fulton precinct in a self-appointment poll-watcher’s role (uh… you have to have training and permission to do that, btw), bossing people around and getting ugly with the elderly black ladies working there. Apparently he wants to make sure those Democrat-voting so-and-so’s don’t vote five or six times apiece, as his “news” sources have been telling him we do.
It’s an honorable endeavor to be a poll wather and ensure the fairness of our system, but there are rules and laws that must be followed. Not everybody got the memo that angry old white guys are not excepted from these rules and laws. Bless his crusty lil’ ol’ heart.

Bronco,
Of course! Threatening people wtih violence and demanding they leave their rightful place in this process is inexcusably bad behavior no matter who’s doing it. Since this surely happened in front of witnesses, I hope the offending party is called out for this behavior. That should be easy since: (1) there’d have to be dozens of witnesses, and (2) a poll watcher doing his job correctly would in NO way draw attention to himself or what he was doing, so the threatening behavior would be alarming to anyone who saw it. FYI: the ladies in the S. Fulton precinct were advised to call the police and report the loiterer. No word yet, but I hope there were no more unpleasant confrontations. Mature adults are above that nonsense.
Election Day Lame Joke #1
November 6th, 2012

Two friends are discussing politics on Election Day, each trying to no avail to convince the other to switch sides.
Finally, one says to the other: “Look, it’s clear that we are unalterably opposed on every political issue. Our votes will surely cancel out. Why not save ourselves some time and both agree to not vote today?”
The other agrees enthusiastically and they part.
Shortly after that, a friend of the first one who had heard the conversation says, “That was a sporting offer you made.”
“Not really,“ says the second. “This is the third time I’ve done this today“.
