from downstairs –
as I said to my friends in the Great Mural Poutrage – I’m one of those people who think that people should be able to wear Mitt t-shirts to the polling place if they want to – and this is a school. Obama (like Washington and Jefferson before him) is the president, so I have no problem with the mural.
I mean, really – do people honestly think that it will change people’s minds??? (”you know, I WAS going to vote for Mitt … but that is a fine looking mural … “)
November 6th, 201212:58 pm
Help! Any text about what it says? (for those of us who should not be watching videos)
Or will it just be “blah blah Romney, blah blah Obama, blah blah Electoral votes”?

via a FB friend in VA so “grain of salt” and all that jazz…
“Apparently a person outside the polls had an MIT sweatshirt on. It was complained about as being a violation of election laws because it showed support for one candidate vs. the other. hahaha”

JKL2 ….special shout out for the “angry man” on the blog……special message just for you….
Keep Up the Good Fight!
A Pennsylvania electronic voting machine has been taken out of service after being captured on video changing a vote for President Obama into one for Mitt Romney, NBC News has confirmed.
I am sure this was the fault of the New BPP. Perhaps if PA has spent more time checking their software…. or maybe they did? I mean, if anything I have learned from this blog that no evidence is needed to claim that Mitt has conspired to steal the election. Has he send in the choppers from Italy?
November 6th, 20121:03 pm
“I am sure this was the fault of the New BPP”
yep – let’s focus on the black guy standing outside the precinct … not the voting machines.
November 6th, 20121:04 pm
Typical liberal way of doing things:
In Philadelphia school voters are greeted by a giant mural of Obama with a quote about hope and change right behind the voting booths. This is illegal. But doees anyone report it….like here…Of course not.
Can’t win by playing by the rules….so just break them. Typical secular/relativistic society logic.
I'm a liberal and believe everything I read and nothing the other side comes up with...cause we're smart and they are not
Trending for Romney…….Heavy. CNN poll yesterday said their internals showed 5% of Dems voting Mitt while 99% of GOP voting Mitt. The poll was 49-49 with a 11%+ Dem favor. and 59-34 independents going Mitt…..If this is true,….Good Morning President Romney sir. And it was CNN, not Fox.

Neat how they put the mural up last night, right before they opened the polls…. snark
Cutter out telling everyone to ignore exit polls and keep voting……UH OH.

“Is Fox REALLY trotting out the New Black Panther chestnut again?”
Says the same guy who trotted out the voter suppression garbage yesterday. Geez.
Ever find any evidence of people being turned away from the polls 2 years ago Jay? Or are you just repeating that BS to rally the un-thinking sheep? Try blaming voter suppression on youtube video, Jay, it’s apparently working for most of the Obama sheep!!

Dawg’88 — “Can’t win by playing by the rules….so just break them.”
How, exactly, were the rules “broken?” If the mural was *already there,* then wouldn’t this have simply been a case of lousy site selection by election officials?
“Typical secular/relativistic society logic.”
Ah. I see. You make things up, ascribe them to others and then blame them for things they didn’t *actually* say and for things they didn’t *actually* do. Lovely.
What you did there, I see it.
I SEE RED PEOPLE
It’s wonderful that we can all lay aside our differences on Election Day and honor the will of the Founding Fathers, deeply religious men of great faith. May the best man win and may there be no manifest malarkey.

Can’t agree with you on this one. Not sure if it’s against the law or not but they shouldn’t have picked that school, or hell even that room, for a polling place.
stands for decibels
In Philadelphia school voters are greeted by a giant mural of Obama
yep. Millions and millions of ‘em.
Yea, verily, this is the Most Important Story out there today.

did you get around to talking about good seafood restaurants in town?

Four more years of no collapses, no more losing wars, no scandals and no attacks on the homeland.
We keep the competent adult in charge.
Back to lurk mode.
I was told by the RNC that every time I vote I get a free grande latte with sprinkles from Starbucks. Can someone confirm that this is not a scam.
J. Cool — “Neat how they put the mural up last night, right before they opened the polls…. snark”
What’s stopping poll workers from taking it down?
November 6th, 20121:09 pm
Been told the Liquor stores in Mid Town doing a brisk business with expensive Euro cars pulling up with lots of sad looks.
“What’s stopping poll workers from taking it down?”
Atleast cover it up w/ a sheet or something.
… and the judge has ruled accordingly …
like I said – it’s just my opinion – t-shirts, etc. the judge has ruled and I don’t have a problem with it
(and Dawg, it was raised downstairs)

Agreed…Or covering it up… it was obviously there waaaaay before today. Blame the election officials, not “liberals”.
Not sure if it’s against the law or not but they shouldn’t have picked that school, or hell even that room, for a polling place.
Well Jay already said that having a campaign logo is certainly problematic and should’ve been papered over.
That said, I’ve been voting for years at a local Bapto-plex that probably manages to display some kind of imagery or political messaging (”kill yer unborn baybee and GO TO HELL!”), somewhere, if I went looking for it.
The mural was commissioned in 1960 by a group of radical Kenyan prognosticators.
November 6th, 20121:13 pm
J. Cool — “Agreed…Or covering it up… it was obviously there waaaaay before today. Blame the election officials, not “liberals”.
I think our conservative friends are just looking for something to be upset about.

Clearly, Scary Black Men and Obama Murals intimidated the conservative drivers of those cars right out of voting today. Quelle Horreur!

Thank you President Obama.
Great job and you deserve to win.
God bless the Obamas.

I’m A Liberal… Says:
“Cutter out telling everyone to ignore exit polls and keep voting……UH OH.”
“Been told the Liquor stores in Mid Town doing a brisk business with expensive Euro cars pulling up with lots of sad looks.”
Did Rush tell you BOTH of those things? I know he told you about the first one.
In any case, folks always pull up to the liquor store with a sad look on their faces. However, they also leave with happy ones.
November 6th, 20121:20 pm
Just heard the O campaign will be declaring the election won this afternoon. Nice “vote suppressing” move.
November 6th, 2012
Exactly…CONS whine about anything. Everything in their little minds is either a conspiracy or some “liberal” tactic.
I hear there was also a ginormous Gary Johnson mural adjacent to the polling room, but no one recognized him.
ByteMe - Got ilk?
November 6th, 20121:21 pm
Better than average!
1. The first black President WAS re-elected…in 1996.
2. Much as I hate to say it, we probably WILL hear about lawsuits, not election results, come tomorrow morning. Here’s a good start:
My guess is one candidate will have a bit over 260 electoral votes, the other a bit over 250 electoral votes. I won’t guess which is which. Whoever wins the lawsuit, and then Ohio, wins the election. This brings to mind something I read during the hubbub surrounding the election 12 years ago. Replace November 8th with November 6th and 2005 with 2017, and it should make a little more sense: http://politicalhumor.about.com/library/blrevocation.htm
November 6th, 20121:22 pm
Go ahead and make fun of the Philly mural, the truth is it has given Romney an unfair advantage.
I voted at that school this morning and went in 100% sure I was going to vote for Romney. After seeing that mural I changed my mind and voted for Obama.
All you arrogant strong minded Democrats need to be reminded, us Republicans are very weak. When we have to go outside our Fox News bunkers at home we become very delicate. It amazes me how Democrats preach compassion then become so downright mean.
Did everyone hear that Chrysler let all their workers off today so they could vote?
I didn’t know they could vote for our President in China.
November 6th, 20121:24 pm
Everything in their little minds is either a conspiracy or some “liberal” tactic.
If it’s splashed all over Faux news liberals need some lessons in conspiring.
“Just heard the O campaign will be declaring the election won this afternoon. Nice “vote suppressing” move.”
Another Rush talking point.
Folks, If people want to listen to Limbaugh they will tune him in on the radio. No need to bore the rest of us by recounting everything he burps up. Thanks.
46 Newspapers Abandon Obama……I guess they all got it wrong also. The guy Sux as POTUS.
November 6th, 20121:25 pm
I think it’s GREAT they have that Obama mural there with the “HOPE and CHANGE” garbage he peddeled 4 years ago as a reminder to everybody who passes by what a mistake it was to buy the hype last time. Fool me once…
November 6th, 20121:26 pm
“Chrysler gave its entire work force the day off to Vote Today! Let’s go! #America,” Ralph Gilles, vice president of design, wrote on Twitter this morning.
He clarified a couple of hours later that union employees at the Big Three — Chrysler, General Motors and Ford — have had Election Day off for 15 years as part of their contracts. “Logically extended to salaried workers too!” Gilles wrote.
15 year old news apparently…..
November 6th, 20121:27 pm
Regan Dem’s moving to Romney big time.
I saw a tough looking Lexus circling our polling place,
filled with menacing looking old men in white shorts
& dark socks with golf clubs,
they said they were looking for a bathroom & the buffet.
a likely story
So here’s my prediction. Obama takes popular vote by at least a million votes, and wins the Electorial College somewhere between 290 and 303 votes. Keep an eye on Virginia in early voting tonight. It will go to Obama and then it’s curtains for Romney. I’m going to be all atwitter watching Romney give his defeat speech tonight. Oh, as Ralph Kramden would say, “How Sweet it is!!”
November 6th, 20121:28 pm
RB, hopefully you won’t or didn’t see any Obama billboards on your way to vote today.
Why was he wearing an ear piece the the last two debates? I guess he wanted to be on call in case any of our Ambassadors needed security help I guess.

It’s 1:30pm so the senior dinner hour starts in 1 hour.
Why do they eat so early? Like that comedian said: We even give them a discount to eat early; we pay them to eat early so we don’t have to look at them while we eat.

If you couldn’t lie and post garbage, would you have anything to say?
“RB, hopefully you won’t or didn’t see any Obama billboards on your way to vote today.”
I did, but it said “comrade Obama” and had the hammer and sicle on it. Made me stop on the way to the office for some bratwurst and russian tea.
B. Bahma — “Just heard the O campaign will be declaring the election won this afternoon. Nice “vote suppressing” move.”
FWIW, if anyone calls the election for either candidate before 11 PM ET, then they’re ’suppressing’ voters in Hawaii. Polls close there at 6 PM and Hawaii is five hours behind us right now.
And if Election Day ever happens to come *before* the fall time change, Hawaiian polls wouldn’t close before *midnight* ET, as Hawaii doesn’t go on DST.
“How have I missed this delicious piece of lunacy?”
you and me, both
November 6th, 20121:34 pm
There is a report out of Virgina that Air Force drones are now circling polling sites that use electronic signaling to change votes from Romney to Obama!!!
I agree, Aqua! Can’t wait to hear the “details” on this one!
November 6th, 20121:36 pm
RB — “Made me stop on the way to the office for some bratwurst and russian tea.”
Bratwurst being, of course, German and not Russian, Tovarisch.

Its a ruse…those are the folks from the Woodstock retirement community that locked the gates today…great misdirection..

Poor Kyle kicked me off his blog because I disagreed with him about Nuclear Power…….. which in his mind is the ONLY real way America will make power in the future. No thoughts about the danger, because in his mind there are no dangers, and what we are going to do with the waste from that process….. Something that has never been figured out.
Why don’t you ask him about it, and the facts there are over charges all Ga power customers will soon be paying for ?
On the matter of the Bush earpiece rumor:
True dat, Aquagirl.

jh mama you said you where in the army, was it the us army?
Peter — “Poor Kyle kicked me off his blog because I disagreed with him about Nuclear Power…….. which in his mind is the ONLY real way America will make power in the future.”
Kyle’s got some issues with alternative power. He told me once that solar wasn’t a viable source of power for GA, so in his opinion, we should drop it. I then pointed out that when you compare power from solar to power from hydro in Georgia, solar’s only one percent behind hydro and did he want to do away with hydropower in GA, as well?
He didn’t respond. Frankly, I think Kyle falls into the conservative trap of thinking that all or most of our energy *must* come from a single source or from a very small number of sources, and that unless you can replace one or more sources outright, your solution is useless.
I’ll be drinking rum punch watching the results
Anyone is welcome to come over

Speaking of W….Yes this is a true story, George W Bush voted for Obama today! Why is this not a surprise!!!! W was never the brightest bulb was he?
Prediction: President Obama wins with 285 electoral votes. Don’t like it necessarily, but that’s what I think it will be.

Of course, libs have no problem ignoring current election laws as long as it does not apply to their chosen one.
November 6th, 20121:52 pm
In Philadelphia, the Republican Party said 75 legally credentialed voting inspectors were removed from polling places in the heavily Democratic city, prompting the GOP to seek a court order providing them access. Local prosecutors were also looking into the reports. Democratic Party officials did not immediately return a message seeking comment.
That is hilarious! Thanks!
November 6th, 20121:54 pm

It seems Romney will lose because of the “conservative” talking heads.
First those talking heads labeled Romney a flip-flopper, which made Romney shift too much to the right.
Now the talking heads are saying Romney leads in Ohio, Wisconsin, Virginia etc. Well, since Romney leads, Romney supporters don’t bother to go out to vote with great enthusiasm.
Obama has the “conservative” talking heads to thank with tonight’s win.
November 6th, 20122:02 pm
oops — “the fix is on by democrats”
I’m willing to bet that if one of those “voting inspectors” got in your face, you’d ask him to leave, too.
Voting inspectors aren’t permitted to *interfere* with the voting process. If they do, poll workers are empowered to kick them out. If inspectors notice or suspect irregularities, they can call it to a poll worker’s attention, but they don’t have any authority to prevent someone from voting or to direct a poll worker to do anything.
In other words, they’re kind of like Black Panthers.
The most dishonest president in history, and the most dishonest political party in history, populated by the most dishonest people in history show by their actions and the actions of their elected officials why Democrats cannot be trusted to have honest elections.. The above is an indictment of the Democrat party by their own actions which proves beyond the shadow of doubt the dishonesty which permeates their party. The actions above were approved of and promoted by president Barack Obama and Eric Holder when they dropped the chages of voter fraud in Philadelphia and blocked further investigation of the fraud after the last election. It is clear they have no character, no conscious, and no morality with which to guide them. This is just one more example of the fraud that the media refuses to acknowledge and covers up..
November 6th, 20122:03 pm
“Bratwurst being, of course, German and not Russian”
Thanks, Joe. The Obama picture on the billboard has a hitler ’stache on it, so the german was implied. Thought everybody had seen that on the news. Guess you didn’t get the “Dean Wormer” one from earlier either, did you?
November 6th, 20122:05 pm
since you got it from Fox News, it must be true, right?
November 6th, 20122:06 pm
If that was Jay Bookman in the video, then who is the guy in the picture above next to “Jay Bookman”?
M. Righty — “The most dishonest president in history, and the most dishonest political party in history, populated by the most dishonest people in history show by their actions and the actions of their elected officials why Democrats cannot be trusted to have honest elections..”

Took me 3 minutes to vote. One minute to fill out the form with name, address, etc. 30 sections for the pole worker to check my drivers license to see if there was a match, 30 seconds to stick the plastic ballot into the machine, and 1 minute to make my selections. This election has generated less excitement in my neck of the woods than the TPLOST thingy back in July. Somebody is going to be eating crow tomorrow.
